    Nicolino Berti

Can't believe Berti does not have a thread of his own. If your maybe too young to remember then Berti was a fecking legend. My favourite player of all time, he would die for blue and black, hated Milan and Juve and scored some lovely goals. I wish he was still at the club as a dirigente, like Branca is.

Will post some goals of his later on.

Oh yeah, bless him, what a legend. I'll never remember his pass that led to Robi Baggio's goal vs Spain in 94...

don't get me wrong, I love Berti but he was the most overrated player in Italy during the 90's, and I'm not criticising him, I loved him but I saw him week in week out and he was never as good as some talked about him and he should've retired earlier than he did.

Still a great player, those were the days when we had great Italian wingers.

I used to adore Berti; his determination and agression were typical and he was instrumental in us winning the league; he gave it all; he might have lacked in his technique but tactically and physically he was great and he scored goals

"Better lose than be milanista" berti. Just for that I love him, also he scored many derby goals I think.

Berti is one of my all time favorite players in Inter. Remember his goal against Bayern München. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQnuPH8Y8Ik

He scored 2 goals against Milan, but unfortunately none against Giuve.

Why did he, and the team in general, treat bergkamp the way they did?

    http://www.ft.com/cms/s/2/017c244e-d...#ixzz2NLPSR58r

"At Inter, Bergkamp had been the dressing room geek. That night at Highbury, Interís midfielder Nicola Berti continued the treatment, talking trash at him. Bergkamp jogged away. Berti chased him. Too late he realised that Bergkamp was leading him straight to Arsenalís giant captain Tony Adams, who ordered Berti to disappear. Berti ran away, so humiliated that minutes later he slapped a ballboy."

    Sorry didn't find Bergkamp's thread...

Cos he was a piss weak, scared little girl when he played...

Didn't know there was a 'Berti' thread. 7 posts is a good measure of what he was like as a player. His passion was second to none, but as a player he was uncoordinated and far from pretty to watch (think Schelotto).

A very mediocre player. But hey, Inter has been full of mediocre players for years and years.

If Schelotto ran that much, we'd need a hospital built in Meazza

You see the way he runs with the ball. He had an unnatural, almost dopey touch & run with the ball

    3,4.

    Italy

Berti was one of the best midfielders/box to box player in Serie A during the late '80s and early '90s.

An hero for the old school Inter fans,he was The Anti-Milan player.
