Jesus christ what is wrong with the council? I really hope Zhang and Scaroni will go to Sesto and approach them with an intent that we are honestly ready to build a stadium here.

Guess Inter needs more trips, better booze, some better dancing powder and prettier whores to get it through. On second thought since they are politicians we are dealing with MDA and rent boys is more their cuppa.

This link is for you to vote if you want new stadium and which of the projects you prefer. Click and answer it. Only the power of fans will destroy those councillors arrogance. The last question is very important.

Yes, the last question is clearly an answer to milano's city council, rather than a question.

The mayor Sala, and the greater part of the city council, would rather see San siro restructured than a new stadium. But the last question implies that this would probably mean having to play for 4 years in a stadium at least 100 km far from Milano, and/or with fewer than 30k seats.

Turin is around 150 km away, and for obvious reasons the stadium we would have been able to use is the Grande Torino stadium, slightly fewer than 30k seats; pretty much at the same distance is the mapei stadium, which has an even smaller capacity, around 22k seats.

Then we will probably soon have Atalanta's stadium, around 55 km away, whose capacity will be the same as mapei's though.

So the numbers they gave are accurate. We probably wouldn't be able to play in Meazza in Champions League while it is beng restructured, and the closest stadia available all have fewer than 30k seats.

When he was asked about it, Antonello had mentioned Olimpico Grande Torino, Dall'Ara and Bentegodi as possible options in case of a Meazza renovation.
Antonio Conte: "During the season, I advise my players to have sex for short periods and with the minimum of effort, and better use positions where they are under their partners. And preferably, with their wives, because if with others, well, that needs extra action".

Sure, I forgot bentegodi. Again, around 150 km, 39k seats, of which only 32k conform to uefa regulations. Dall'ara is a bit farther away and it has a 36k capacity.

Inter and Milan face stadium protests
    By Football Italia staff

Inter and Milan were met with resistance, protests and irritation from local residents when presenting their new stadium plans this evening.

It is looking increasingly unlikely that the local council will give the all-clear to begin building a new arena, essentially in the car park next to the current Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

So far, councillors have been largely negative about the project to tear down the stadium and create a new venue in the San Siro area of the city.

This evening, Inter director Alessandro Antonello and Milan President Paolo Scaroni attended a town hall meeting to present their project to local citizens, but were greeted with almost blanket negativity.

There were protest signs complaining that big business was trying to make money off the area, creating more concrete rather than green spaces and putting the stadium too close to houses.

Scaroni did not help the situation when referring to the area around San Siro as “a desolate landscape,” which prompted boos from the audience.

Several were calling for a return to the table of the third design, proposed by architect Stefano Boeri, which would’ve had greenery growing off the sides.
