Hmm, really, Luis? I would've wanted to see Adriano play a similar role to the one Crespo did vs. Roma, drifting sometimes deep in the corners to pick up balls and at other times receive some support from Ibrahimovic. I definelty agree on the Stan-Dacourt partnership...it's the only solution we have, atm. Solari is abit ambitious, I also doubt Mancini is going to play reserves in a Serie A match...he never does.

Mike, good observation about the winger role, however, Chievo are a little paranoid team that will most probably play catenaccio which means very small space for Adriano.

Dacourt should take a breather. Otherwise, he will get tired vs Bayern and go gang-ho and get ejected early. We have to try a youngster in the middle along with Stan.

About Maxwell, I think Grosso played well today and should play against Chievo as well.

Dont be fooled, Chievo mgiht be small but these opening games are so damn important. Milan are not far off us, and anything less then a win will put Roma back on top of us (possibly).

There is no way we should play a youngster in the middle, we should play our best possible (avaialble) line up for that game. Stan in the middle means, Grosso again out wide in midfield..

Dont be fooled, Solari wont start...However Figo & Mariano have very good chances to start.

In past times chievo is not a big team but they have been with each other for many years and this team knows how to play, where lucky to be at the mezza for this one with out cuhu and Vieria the cuvra might give us a extra push

I rate the Bayern game HIGHER than the Chievo one. We mess up the Bayern game and we can be in deep trouble. We mess up the Chievo game and it won't be a big deal.

I would also give Adriano 30 minutes or more, Mariano would start the match

We can't screw up against bayern, and we are in problems cause of vieira and cambiasso
But we cant screw up this one too

I am not worried about chievo, if we can't win this one then..........

Seeing that we would have a new central midfield partnership for the bayern game, we should try them out in this game. In fact I would go with the exact formation for the bayern game so that players would develop understanding. I know Chievo<<<Roma, but so was Sampdoria.

Yeah, it's not time to rest players like Dacourt, especially when Vieira's out of this game. Too bad that Dacourt could had been rested had Vieira not been sent-off against Roma.

I guess Figo will start the game alongside Gonzalez, with Stankovic and Dacourt in the middle. Or may be we will see the same midfield that we played against Roma, with the exception of Vieira.

There's a slight chance that Cambiasso could be ready for the B.Munich game (as said by Mancini). Anywaz, lets hope to see the duo of Stankovic -- Dacourt, so that they could get accustomed for the Champs League match.

I feel a lot is depending on the formation, obviously. If we dare to field a 4-3-1-2 against Bayern, we should play Javier-Dacourt-Stankovic in both matches with Figo ahead of them. Ibra should rest against Chievo. At least not play 90 minutes.

Whatever we do formation-wise against Bayern, we should do the same thing against Chievo as the partnership centrally will be totally new whatsoever.

Seeing how things stand at the moment I think Mancini will make few changes for this game. Let's not forget that there are no easy teams in Serie A. Chievo are going through a difficult period and we must take advantage of that.

I think that Maicon has that RB spot sussed if he doesn't get excessive attacks which may not happen against Chievo so I propose we use Il Capitano with Deki in the middle or Dacourt with DEki and Capitano at RB either way that is what I want.
