    Your Favorite Movies

Just a simple question, which are you favourite movies? Serial movies, old, new, let's say "all time favourite movie"!

    Derby d'Italia, why the rivalry?

First or second? I don't know. I used to think that the first was much better due to the presence of Marlon Brando as Don Vito Corleone in it but the second movie revolved around the dark, Machiavellian chracter of Michael which was, perhaps, more intriguing compared to his father.

Same here, it's fascinating to see how Michael evolved from an "outsider" to a Don. Both of them are equally good, but Vito Corleone has something special, so I think I might have to go for the first one

Ocean's Eleven. Amazing movie. And what a list of characters!
"It will be born here, at the "Orologio (Watch)" restaurant, meeting place of artists and it will be always a team of great talent. On this splendid night it's colours will be given: The black and the blue with a golden background of the stars. It will be called Internazionale, because we are brothers of the world."

    Nice!
    Great movie!

Well, for me, my all time favourite movie is Star Wars!

Man, George Lucas is genius! To connect 6 parts of the movie, (new and old ones), there was a serial cartoon (with happening between the second and the third episodes), and few games also (made by Lucas Arts)...
Have you played KOTOR?? Well, the story is not connected to the movie, but there are some animals, planets, and even characters which are mentioned in the movie. Or "Jedi Academy"? Game with happening after the defeat of the Imperials! Here, the story is connected directly to the movie.

It's not easy at all to do such stuff. Lucas is definitely genius!!

There are a lot I like, my favorite comedy would have to be Borat, but my favorite movie in general is probably Pulp Fiction.

Trainspotting. However it's a silly question IMO. Mostly asked by first-grade students if they are the one who has to interview some person.

Very very difficult to choose one, I guess I'd go for Dawn of the Dead (Aliens, The Matrix, Carlito's Way, Scarface and Signs were also strong contenders). I think the remake is just as good as the orginal George Romero's one (even if very different).

I like many different types of movies, here are some movies that I never mind seeing again:

    • Fight Club
    • Seven
    • Donnie Darko
    • Matrix (the first)
    • Star Wars (any one)
    • Meet Joe Black
    • Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
    • Nightmare Before Christmas (kind of obvious)
    • Interview With the Vampire

I meant to say all the parts, but I must say that this last one is great, the way it merged with the "original" Star Wars was awesome, and of course the Empire Strikes Back, I think these are my two favourite parts.

Some solid movies up here but gotta say hands down my favourite movie is Donnie Darko, that shit is amazing. Although V for Vendetta is a close second for me with Fight Club coming in third.

Hey Pi you've got some great taste in movies bro.
