    Empoli - Inter (10 Dec 06)

Difficult game after the trip to Germany. Vieira and Maicon won't play because they are disqualified.

    Crespo-Ibra
    Solari-Stankovic-Cambiasso-Figo []
    Grosso-Materazzi-Burdisso-Zanetti
    Cesar

I'd want to see Maxwell instead of Grosso and Cordoba instead of Matrix if he is capable of playing.

Empoli beat Palermo in Tuscany, so by no means an easy game and I think that Empoli are a bit of a bogey team for us.

Empoli actually have a good defense this year...I am not soo comfortable with this one being after the big CL clash.

Another 50 meter Matrix goal would be good, but hopefully in the right net this time...

    Yep.

Fixtures against Empoli (Away) have always been memorable.

    Empoli - Inter 3-4 (6 Nov 02)
Great match for the neutral. J.Zanetti's last goal for us before he scored last month against Ascoli. Superb Chino strike and Vannucchi's free-kick.

    Empoli - Inter 2-3 (16 May 04)
Last match of that season. Winning would ensure us a qualification to the Champions League. We were under pressure from Parma at that time who were just 2-3 points below us. Empoli scored first but Adriano equalized before half-time and did the famous Hulk celebration. Adriano scored another one by dribbling the whole Empoli defence (Where the hell is that Adri now!?) and Recoba put the finishing touch with a brilliant free-kick.

    Empoli - Inter 1-0 (30 Apr 06)
As Helal mentioned, Matrix scored the goal of the season with a 50-yard chip...at the wrong end.

This will be a very tough match and I won't be surprised if our winning streak is ended here. But this Inter has proven me wrong so many times, especially by winning in Renzo Barbera, that I also won't be surprised if we win again. Hopefully, Lazio will do us a favor in the Rome Derby.

Ah, it's finally relaxing to be an Interista now.

This is another match that could be won by the odd goal.

As mentioned earlier, Empoli's defence has been mean this season and I can't see us running riots in Tuscany.

Empoli has the best defence (only concedes 10 goals) and the third worst attack(12 goals just better than Ascoli and Torino) in Serie A.It won't be a easy game but anyway it won't be tougher than Fiorentina&Roma&Bilan&Palermo.I hope Materazzi can make up for his last season's error with a goal

Yes Han, we will live longer now without all the stress . For once Im confident of my team winning!

I think the Rome derby is next week, that makes it all the more important to keep Roma under pressure, who knows they might crack and we can break away even further!!

Everything a man should be. We miss you Cipe.

Tough game. Empoli are no slouches at home. Alvaro's lineup looks pretty good to me.

I think Mancio did the right thing be resting the likes of Cuchu and Deki so they can be 100% ready for this tough encounter.

I think Inter should approach this game with patience as Empoli is proving to be a tough nut to crack this term.

Since both Maicon and Vieira will be missing; I expect the following line-up:

    ------------------Cesar------------------

    Zanetti----Burdisso----Materazzi----Grosso

    Figo-----Stankovic-----Cambiasso-----Solari

    ----------Ibrahimovic----Crespo-----------

Burdisso will probablly be in the team, like RB, Ibrahimović looked tired last two games so I would like to see Recoba like the starter.

P.S: Join prediction league if you like to make predictions, I know that is go far but you can catch good form for next season.

Maicon won't be playing and Ibra+Chinio won't be an effective duel. We need someone in the box, like Crespo and Cruz. I expect something similar to the line-up against Palermo.

    ---------------J.Cesar--------------
    Burdisso--Samuel--Materazzi--Grosso
    --Stankovic---Cambiasso---Zanetti--

Good news, Figo won't take part in this one because *he sustained left-knee knock against Bayern*

If Chino is 100% i would like to see him behind our attackers. Everyone saw the brilliant pass to Grosso in München.. I want more of that! And when he gets injured (he surely will) we might already have scored one or two goals..
