The first time I went for Hotel Oro Blu, its quite cheap, good service and the rooms are nice. The only minor point would be that it is located a bit out of centre (it's very near San Siro), but there is a subway-stop at 50 meters, so that's not much of a problem.

This year however, I'm going for Hotel Berna, because I want to be more in the centre of Milan

    PS: check out www.bookings.org
Due to the changes in the management team, we had to adopt a new domain name !

Oro-vuckin-Blu. I was there few nights at last summer as well. Nice, cheap and very close to Meazza...just like you said. There“s also McDonalds in the corner so you wont starve. Mmmm, cheeseburgers..mmm

Stefan, book it in advance and it“s a lot cheaper. One room/day (for two) costed us only around 60euros.

Before I got a flat in Milan I used to travel there maybe 12 times a year or more. I only stay at one place which is perfect IMO. Enterprise Hotel is my favorite. Its in the neighborhood in which I currently reside too that is how much I like it. About a 10 minute tram ride away from the core of the city makes it perfect to experience Milan as a normal person not a tourist. Also not far at all from the San Siro approx 5-10 min via car 10-15 via tram as you need to transfer.

Ok guys I got a hotel sorted. I will be staying at hotel Bernia or something like that.

Now got some more questions. Whats the easiest way to go and watch the team pratice and are you allowed to do that??

Also I know JZ has a restaurant in milano whats its name and is it very expensive??

Any suggestions on places for food which aren't too expensive but not overly bad??

Any suggestion on must see places??

You're still going? You won't get to see the match, surely.

    Why not, Jimmy?

If Bbilan season ticket holders were allowed in, I guess that means they should be able to sort out things in a months time.

I was under the impression that only season ticket holders will attend the games for the rest of the season. I hope I'm wrong though, because I've got a ticket to the Palermo match with my name on it, too.

Jim I paid for the hotels and plane tickets already. I might as well go, else I am just waisting that money. I am not sure but on saterday the security guy of san siro said the rest of the work will be completed in 2 weeks. But he wasn't clear what work so I am not sure if thats for other fans aswell.

Also any recommendations on were to watch Valencia-Inter?? I am not sure if the hotel has sky italia. And I will be there when the second leg of the cl is on.

Today we'll get more info about the situation and it actually looks quite promising. Maybe we'll get inside Meazza for the derby.

Stefan, or anybody for that matter , while you're in Milan, try a Japanese restaurant called Nobu. Been hearing lots of rave reviews for that restaurant.

I hear Nobu is Figo's favourite restaurant. Too bad I don't eat fish at all, so I'll probably stick with something else.
