    Inter - Parma (1 Apr 07)

This should be another important match for Inter to come up with 100 points this season.

I guess that this should be an easy game for Inter, but I expect Parma to play hard as they are currently in the relegation zone, and obviously they do not want to see themselves dropping down to Serie B.

Mancini will probably use some of his bench players, especially I am looking forward to see Recoba back in the lineup, because I don't want to see him leaving Inter this summer.

Here is my starting eleven for the home match against Parma:

    --------------------Julio Cesar------------------

    Maicon-------Cordoba-------Samuel-------Grosso

    ------Zanetti-------Stankovic-------Solari-------

    ----------------------Figo-----------------------

    --------------Adriano-------Recoba--------------

Its good to see Solari in there as well. Hopefully Recoba and Solari can both start to get playing time from Mancini.

Apparently? They are second from bottom which means they ARE in the relegation zone. A win for them would be huge which makes this game immensely more difficult. Plus they have Rossi which means they finally have a striker capable of putting the ball in the back of the net.

It is too bad Zlatan is suspended for this game as he has been a clutch player for us this season. I see Adriano and Cruz getting the start up front in this one.

I thought it had been finalized that Recoba and Adriano were starting?

Don't overhype Rossi, Wally. He hasn't done a whole lot scoring-wise in either England or Italy. I do admit he's quite dangerous though.

Should be a tough game with Parma fighting for survival. And I'm quite positive Cambiasso will be starting.

We'll be missing Ibra for this one and it's a good chance to try out Adriano up front along side either Crespo or Cruz. I think Mancio will rest some of the players who were away on international duty.

I fear that the team is going to lose its hunger to win more games and feel relaxed. I want us to reach the 100 points mark by any mean.

I expect Mancio to start the following players:

    ------------------Toldo-------------------

    Maicon----Burdisso----Materazzi----Maxwell

    ---------------Cambiasso------------------

    -----------Stankovic----Zanetti------------

    -------------------Figo---------------------

    --------------Adriano----Crespo-------------

Yes. We would see how things go without Zalatan. Let's hope Cuchu will get some minutes too.

Why are both of you dropping JC? He did awesome when he was with Brazil and I think it would be a mistake to bench him now. He played his games in Europe too so jet lag should only be a minor issue with him.

Toldo deserves to get some Serie A action this year, he'll have more energy than JC too.

JC has no problem. Playing Toldo is just a normal rotation.

Any of you know how many games playes need to play in to get the winner's medal, or they just have to be registered by us to Serie A or something like that?

    MANCINI'S CALL-UPS FOR INTER V PARMA
    Saturday, 31 March 2007 15:07:45

    [FOTO Saturday, 31 March 2007 15:07:45]

APPIANO GENTILE - Roberto Mancini has named a 20-player squad for Sunday's Serie A Week 30 visit of Parma:

Goalkeepers: 1 Francesco Toldo, 12 Julio Cesar Soares, 79 Fabian Carini.

Defenders: 2 Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, 4 Javier Zanetti, 6 Maxwell, 11 Fabio Grosso, 16 Nicolas Burdisso, 23 Marco Materazzi, 25 Walter Samuel, 77 Marco Andreolli.

Midfielders: 5 Dejan Stankovic, 7 Luis Figo, 15 Olivier Dacourt, 19 Esteban Cambiasso, 21 Santiago Solari, 91 Mariano Gonzalez.

Strikers: 10 Adriano, 18 Hernan Crespo, 20 Alvaro Recoba.

Adri will SURELY PLAY,cuz mancio is sayin that he will be decisive against parma,I JUST WANT IL CHINO to start, but i know that he wont and toldo i think will start cuz J.Cesar was given a dayz leave so toldo has prepared much better for this game.

Good point where are those two? Maicon should be back from suspension and I figured Cruz would have been an automatic starter in this one.

It has been revealed that Cruz is injured. No idea about Maicon though, I'd say that the most probable guess is that he's too beat up after his Brazil NT matches?

lol then it must be Burdisso's lucky season. Because of his ability to play anywhere, he played alot to cover the many injuries the team suffered this season.

Recoba is 100% fit, so he may start this game.

And since Ibrahimovic isn't there + Dacourt's condition, then Figo should start this one.
