I need new shit to listen to, favorite albums of 2020, go!
Yeah the Elzhi album was good. Styes David and RTJ4 got plenty of rotation on the drive to work. Streams of Thought Vol 3 was good crib cleaning music. Kings disease was a good drop, I appreciate that after 20+ years in the game Nas can still drop 3.5-4 mics in the old source caliber album. Speacial shout out to Meth for this verse....

Which matches do you feel more, those with Juventus or Milan?
"With Milan, without doubt. And I don't like the Rossoneri fans either because they have a way of behaving, particularly when they win, that I don't appreciate."

RIP DOOM
Did anyone else suspect that DOOM faked his own death as some sort of stunt?
Sadly I don't think it is, but something I could also see him doing.
Anyone know why his family waited 2 months to share the news or any info on how he died?
RIP to a true rappers' rapper.
the thought hit me considering he's been known for sending out fake DOOMS to shows and it kinda fits his super villain persona. But nah, he's gone sadly.
Coulda been in his will maybe. Again, super villain persona. He died on halloween by the way.

Dr Dre in ICU for a brain aneurysm. Sounds like he is going to be alright though.
Found this video in my recommendations the other day. The title is self explanatory, it's a documentary about the origins of Memphis rap, a really underground genre dating back to the 90s. Back in 2017 when I was high all day everyday, my music of choice was phonk which also has it's roots in Memphis rap, especially in regard to the beats and vocal samples. Definitely worth a watch.
Here's one of the pioneer phonk mixes. I'd recommend listening to it with your best speakers, because the bass adds to the experience.
I'll drag this a bit further: Before I got into phonk I discovered Lo-Fi hip hop, which I'm sure some of you may have already heard of. The mainstream Lo-Fi from today however rarely ever features vocal samples. This is one of the first mixes which I've listened to which got me hooked on the genre.
Another mix, arguably the best of all time, got taken down from YouTube because of copyright issues, but I'll provide the soundcloud link.

This is basically the evolution of my Lo-Fi/phonk taste, the correct order is from bottom to top. This may not float everyone's boat, but I'm happy if I introduced at least one of you to a new facet of the hip hop realm.
