    Messina - Inter (6 May 07)

Been on a streak lately. 2 opened threads, 2 celebrations.

Nothing much to say about this match. Definitely the match where we should rest our players prior to the Coppa Italia final against Roma, which would come 3 days after this.

    Previous matches against Messina:

    Messina - Inter 2-1 (24 Apr 05)
Cruz scored first, before Rafael won it at the very last minute. Disrupted our 5 match winning run.

    Messina - Inter 1-2 (27 Nov 05)
The match where Zoro became one of Curva Nord's #1 enemy. Recoba scored a great goal.

The record is 28 wins (JuBe 49/50 and Milan 05/06)... we need 1 win to match them and 2 more wins to set a new record.

Messina - 5 wins, 6 draws and 6 losses at home
Inter - 14 wins, 3 draws and 0 losses away

    Forza Inter!!!
Some people were against a female name as my nick. Strange, don't you think?

But no, I did not left only because of it. Don't worry, there is a brand new superhero who will save everyone. I just have mental issues and I am freaking disgusting.

I've read what Mancio said on inter.it and it seems that we're set to see Andreolli in all the remaining Serie A games this season.

The news is good since Marco really needs to play more to gain experience required at the highest level. However, I don't think Mancio will be able to pick so many primavera players such as Ribas since they will be involved in the primavera scudetto battle.

I'm sure that Solari will start this game too since Il Dragone is suspended and in anyway we need to rest him for the Coppa Italia Final. It's good that we will have Adriano back for this one and I hope he won't show us more of his acting skills. :p

    I expect the following line-up

    -------------------Toldo------------------

    Andreolli----Cordoba----Materazzi----Grosso

    ------------------Dacourt-----------------

    --------------Mariano----Zanetti----------

    --------------------Solari-----------------

    --------------Adriano----Recoba-----------

It'd pain me to see Andreolli on the right again. He really struggled on that role and that's not going to do his confidence any good. I'd sacrifice Cordoba and switch him with Andreolli instead. Cordoba has more experience and thus, he should be the one who has to adjust.

I think Andreolli will be used on the right again because both Maicon and Burdisso are not available for this game.

Mancini might change it since Andreolli did fairly poor on that position. It is important to let him get experince in a role he is comfortable with. I think Mancini will put him in the middle with Matrix and perhaps switch Zanetti back to RB. We got enough midfield this time by putting on Solari or Mariano in addition to Figo, Deki and Cambiasso or Dacourt.

Stankovic is suspended for this one. I agree we could slot Marco in the middle of the defence along with Matrix and use Cordoba or Zanetti in the right back position, but I think Mancio will try to rest Zanetti for the Coppa Italia 1st leg final which will be played three days later.

Messina's only real threat in attack is Rigano who is physically strong and therefore I expected Mancio to start with Matrix.

I guess Mancio knows Andreolli plays much better at the CB position. But due to the absence of Nico and Maicon, he will still be played as a RB if Cafe stays in the middle with Matrix.

    This is my ideal line-up:

    -------------Adriano--------Recoba-----------
    ---------------------Figo---------------------
    --------Solari------Dacourt-----Mariano-------
    --Maxwell----Materazzi----Cordoba---Andreolli-

Poor Mariano... He has tried so many new positions in Inter but is never given a chance to shine as a right winger.
    Grazie Ragazzi

I am on Han's side of switching Cordoba on the right instead of Andre
    My line ups:

    Maxwell-Matrix-Andre-Cordoba
    Solari-Dacourt-Zanetti
    Figo
    Adriano - Recoba

If he really wanted to play Marco ahead of Cafe in the middle he would have done it in the last game. I expect the same defence we used against Empoli.

    Poor Messina!!

Their top goalscorer Rigano is suspended.

maybe he will rethink about it after Andre did so poor as RB?

    Javier Zanetti,

I don't care who Mancini will field as long as Andreolli in the field. I'm really hoping that he will be our next Materazzi. So more experience and more playing time will be perfect for him.
Oww Yeah, the time is now
Inter time is now, y'all can't see us

Last season when Inter played at Messina, the Curva abused Zoro racially and he wanted to leave the pitch before being stopped by both Martins and Adriano.

Since then there’s no love lust between the Curva and Zoro.
