    Francesco Bolzoni

    Francesco Bolzoni

    country: Italy
    born in: Lodi
    on: May 7 1989
    height: 180 cm
    position: Midfielder

I don't know when, how and why is he in first team's page in inter.it http://www.inter.it/aas/squadra/index?L=en , and this is all what I found about him:

Central midfielder Francesco Bolzoni was born in Lodi on 7 May 1989. He started out at San Colombano al Lambro before joining Inter's academy. In six seasons with the club, Bolzoni has played for every academy team from the Esordienti to the Primavera. He made his first-team debut on 1 February 2007, playing 23 minutes of the Tim Cup semi-final return leg against Sampdoria at the Meazza.

I think he was called up to the Torino match and therefore he's in the squad.

yes, I'm impressed by him too. but he is still just future melody. In football everything could be ****ed very simple by "some reasons".(see Coco and Adriano examples)

I simply think that Bolzoni seems to be more promising than Andreolli. In those 2 friendlies, he's playing almost like the other first team players.

I also have to say that I'm impressed by Ivan Fatic, just a class defender.

Well, Andreolli is a defender, and he is midfielder... And Ribas and Slavkovski are strikers, so say who's more promising?

Factic is a Primavera defender from Montenegro, who has played our recent three friendlies. He had some decent tackles last night.

To me Zanetti represents the joy of living, the joy of making football your job every morning. He is the smile, the life force, the passion for training, the good cheer for everyone who works with him. To me Javier Zanetti is all of these things, and he is a man that I'm happy to say will be a friend forever.
After all of that, and a long way behind, comes the footballer. But having been his coach for only two years of his incredible career, it's not my place to talk about a man who has written his own story - and what a marvellous story it is. All I will say is thank you for everything, thank you for giving me a small space in your story. What I will cherish most is that hug in the middle of the Santiago Bernabeu: it won't be the last but it was certainly the most intense of our two years together.
Perhaps one day somebody might beat Zanetti's record, but there will only ever be one Zanetti.

Another solid performance by Bolzoni against Milan's almost full squad, in addition his solid game against the gobbi in Birra Moretti Trophy.

That's what should happen. He's already playing very good against Europe's top teams (like the England tour, BBilan and JuBe), with their experienced players. Facing less quality European teams (like Spartak Moscow last year) shouldn't be a problem to him.

Bolzoni: "The start of a dream..."
    Wednesday, 03 October 2007 00:07:41

MILAN - After making his first-team debut in last season's Tim Cup semi-final return leg against Sampdoria, Francesco Bolzoni pulled on a Nerazzurri shirt for the second time in Tuesday's Champions League win over PSV Eindhoven.

"I want to thank the coach for playing me," said holding midfielder Bolzoni, who replaced Solari to give Inter extra cover after the dismissal of Cristian Chivu. "I felt nervous when I came on but soon gained courage."

The Inter Primavera player added: "This is the start of a dream for me, but I have to keep my feet on the ground and do everything to make this dream continue.

"Mancini has taught me many things and along with my team-mates who are helping me improve a lot, he continues to correct my mistakes and motivate me."

Nothing spectacular, but he didn't make a fool out of himself for sure. Had some nice passes that tells he has overview.

    Seems like a prospect.

His debut on CL against dutch champions... I would also be scared

He played very good, made some mistakes, but for now it can be passed because he's only 18 if I'm not mistaken

It's amazing to imagine this kid is only two years older than me and playing at the top tier of european football. Simply amazing. I hope he blossoms into a great player and will be valuable to inter in the future.

To me he seems like a young Pirlo, but maybe more workrate & better defending and less technique. I was very impressed with him during preseason, and showed against PSV that he can do good against better teams too. Some nice tackles and passes. Best thing ive seen comming from primavera for a very long time(except Martins). If Mancini really show some faith in Bolzoni and Supermario, i think they can both get in our team in some years. But it doesnt seem like he will... Instead of buying Pele he could have tried Bolzoni.
