Don't worry this thread isn't to knock Inter for their photocopied scudetto, or for their consistent failure over the years This is just me paying respects to a good cub
Even though I knocked someone claiming to be a milan fan earlier for his sig which said "I respect Inter" which I think is wrong as a rossonero to always empahsize that ........I do respect Inter (somehwat ) too.
I was always a fan of players rather than teams and hence I'd follow the tram because of the player. I even followed Inter for a brief while when el Batigol wore blue and black. But even though I loved Shevchenko, Inzaghi and Rivaldo....I guess the main reasons I supported Milan were 1)their ability to rise to the occasion 2) the way they treated their stars even though they got old and 3) their European drive 4) real class.
For Inter fans that have joined since the early 90's to 2005 I really do admire because they could never be called glory hunters. Inter has endured being the butt of many cruel jokes for their throwing away great players, games, tournaments...but their fans have remained unwavering over the years and the is fantastic....especially for foreign fans who don't even have a vested interest per se in the club. People like Alex de Large who has been supporting you guys really do deserve respect. They remind me of my own high school who have been getting their asses handed to them years before my arrival....and all the old boys kept supporting them without letup ....then in 1999 we won the treble and have been a force to reckon with ever since.
Whether Inter's being faxed their personal scudettos would provide them the impetus to truly become the powerhouse they once were remains to be seen, but at least they have gotten their (however skewed) retribution over Juve who deserved some form of punishment since your Ronaldo era.
As a Milan fan it's much better when you and juve are at your best....because a competition is not a competition without either of you.
