figo isnt a great direct freekicker at all. Never was.

Chivu is probably our best atm, adriano is great from the distance when isnt depressed.... Cruz is pretty good also.

Recoba, then miles away from him are Figo, then Adriano and Stankovic.

Forgot about Chivu.. He's up there too.

Recoba is out anyway! Adriano, Figo and Chivu are the best ones.

Figo have best croses, shoting is poor last couple years, Dejan can hit good cross and good shoot. Adriano is best free kick taker in our team and I don't count Chivu because I didn't see his free kicks yet.

I didn't count Recoba because he's allways injured, if you count him guys than you can count Mihajlovic too, neither of them didn't play football last two seasons.

i loved watching adriano's FKs when he was on fire

back then, we had veron/miha standing over the ball, teams were conditioned to seeing veron/miha send the ball in and adriano was the counter to jumping walls and off-side traps...

now that we have chivu/figo standing over the ball, i can see adriano scoring much more often from those exact same set plays...

    chivu/figo could:
    1. have a pot shot
    2. send the ball in for our giants (matrix, ibra, vieira) to force in
    3. send it across the face of the wall to stankovic, who quarterback-style, positions the ball so that adriano has a cannon shot ready

all very cool in my opinion

    Best free-kick taker...

    ...hmm...Chivu and/or Materazzi.

u can ask that question as often as you like

but chances are, recoba isnt ever going to be on the field and figo can't play a full match either

    i disagree

his FKs are just as inconsistent as his normal gameplay

he can be the best on his day, but definately not consistent enough to warrant being called the best at inter

not every f/k taker are consistent.. becos scoring from f/k are actually a hard thing to do. if the answer can include staff in it, i would say Mihaj.

I would still enjoy having Sinisa in the first team (if he was 28-29 ), but I think it's great that we have him in our staff!

To me Inter's free kick takers should be as follows in order:

    1- Figo
2- Recoba (Yeah...right, let's get it on with the guy after)
    3- Chivu
    4- Adriano
5- Jiminez (He showed how good he could score from an quick indirect free kick against us)
    6- Ibrahimovic
7- Stankovic (Hey, even though Ibra is horrible at free kicks in my mind because of his free kick style, but he sure got a goal or two from them and Deki didn't)

i think i remember ibra trying to curve the ball back c.ronaldo style where he hits the ball with the side of his foot to the left side of the wall and the ball would curve back (somehow), maybe with aid of the wind?

it mustve hit the post or barely missed unlike c.ronaldo's one (goal) and will never made it into a highlights package

couldnt find the ibra one but it looked similar to this...
