Toldo will retire, Orlandoni stays as a 3rd goalkeeper. If he's good enough he might be the 1st goalkeeper. So an Italian goalkeeper is needed, whether a 2nd or a 1st goalkeeper.

btw we signed him from Chievo. He used to wear the shirt number 1 there, but wasn't their first goalkeeper, obviously because he's too young.

Atleast this deal seems better than Pele.

I know, I said this because he's Italian. This is important because Toldo will retire and we'll need more Italian players for the Champions League.

he will eventially be 2nd or first choice, he's rated highly by italians and started for italia's u-17, even though he let in 6goals in 2 games, he was said to play well, 5 saves in one game, 8 in the other. Any way good luck, hopefully he's a young star waiting to develop soon.

We are going crazy about goalies now. We own Viviano as well.

To me Zanetti represents the joy of living, the joy of making football your job every morning. He is the smile, the life force, the passion for training, the good cheer for everyone who works with him. To me Javier Zanetti is all of these things, and he is a man that I'm happy to say will be a friend forever.
After all of that, and a long way behind, comes the footballer. But having been his coach for only two years of his incredible career, it's not my place to talk about a man who has written his own story - and what a marvellous story it is. All I will say is thank you for everything, thank you for giving me a small space in your story. What I will cherish most is that hug in the middle of the Santiago Bernabeu: it won't be the last but it was certainly the most intense of our two years together.
Perhaps one day somebody might beat Zanetti's record, but there will only ever be one Zanetti.

Possibly, perhaps, maybe, if he becomes good enough after few years, then why not? It's still a possibility no matter how small it is.

We'll sign an Italian goalkeeper for next season anyway because of the Champions League rules. Toldo will retire, and I don't think Orlandoni will be a second choice. Viviano? Alfonso? it doesn't matter.

He doesn't seem to be a primavera player, he's in the first team squad page, and he already has an official number. inter.it don't usually do this with new primavera players.

why co-ownership? if he is potential and become a good GK, it'll take a big sum of money to get full ownership, except if he still play with his former club (so that he can play regularly/more often)

No, he'll be with Inter this season.

But I don't know if it's possible to send a co-owned player on loan to another club:

The 19-year-old shot-stopper has put pen-to-paper on a five-year deal, with the Nerazzurri reportedly shelling out 1.3m euro for half of his rights.

Alfonso arrives as a direct replacment for Fabian Carini, who recently vacated the number four spot in the Inter goalkeeper hierarchy in favour of a move to Real Murcia.

The Italian champions have not ruled out the possibility of immediately sending out the teenager on loan to gain experience.

This is possible. It has been done before. Look at some of the co-ownership sum-ups at inter.it. I believe you will find examples.

As for Alfonso, it must be because, as Adnan said, he's Italian.

Didn't look very convincing tonight. Had one good save from a shot in the 1st half, but he generally looked very shaky in the air and had some odd actions there, one of them should've been a goal for Reggina.
