Even thought this list is better then the one of FIFA there are still some people missing (Maicon) And there are still some people there who should not be there. I mean Inzagi,Raul,Cannavaro,Robinho,Maldini and Becks ?? Those realy have done nothing great in the last season and should not be nominated.
Which matches do you feel more, those with Juventus or Milan?
"With Milan, without doubt. And I don't like the Rossoneri fans either because they have a way of behaving, particularly when they win, that I don't appreciate."

List fair enough in general. I agree with Adriano@10 that some of those are nominated simply because of fame rather than their performance. Anywayz, they wont stand a chance winning it.

Glad to see that Ibra is being rewarded with what he should be getting. Hope he win this, Forza Ibra

Interesting to see that inter has only one nominated player while Milan has five players. They did win UEFA last year but our players in similar positions (cambiasso, zanetti, figo) are at the same level if not better and they are never recognized. It's a shame.

Anyone says that Inzaghi was better than Cruz last season should stop watching football, including the people who made this list.

Just like every season, there are obvious reasons. Buffon plays for Juventus, Eto'o plays for Barcelona, and Pepe plays for Real Madrid.

Doesnt care about the list anymore.
CR7 should win it. I cannot see anyone else.
Ibra is on form now, if we went far in the CL, he is definitely a possible candidate next year

It's the same story, and I'm passed the frustration point.

It just CL and WC/EURO tournaments that affects these lists. Make an impact there, and you will be one of the favourites to win it. The league form is also important, but not as much(look Kaka, who won Ballon for couple of briliant games, but still just couple, last year). It's just the way it is.

Can you imagine the reaction from the English media, if their latin lover doesnt win this award. . Just to see that reaction alone, makes me wish we dont see that metrosexual fag win.

He is definetely the favourite. Although his poor performance at the Euro can have an effect. Casillas is in with a good shout as well, so is Messi.

As Luka said, the list concentrates on the performances in major tournaments like CL and Euro/WC depending on the year. Still surprising to see not a single Roma player. DeRossi had a pretty solid year, he should have been there. Maybe whining like a 5 year old girl through out the season didnt help his case.

Also shocked to see Rooney, considering England didnt even qualify for the Euros, and Rooney basically played second fiddle to Cristiano Ronaldo and Tevez in Manu's CL success.
