    Catania - Inter (10 Feb 08)

This should be a regulation victory for us.
Maybe Pele should get some minutes to give him a good experience. He could be needed in CL games later due to injury and suspension prone nature of our midfield.

Disciplinary situation for Sunday's Serie A Week 22 match at the Stadio Massimino (kick-off 20:30):

    Catania
    Disqualified: -
    Cautioned: Biagianti, Colucci, Morimoto, Terlizzi.

    Inter
    Disqualified: Vieira;
    Cautioned: Burdisso, Cambiasso, Chivu.

I expect nothing else than win - without red cards and penalties, just pure game. 3 goals for us, 1 for them. I expect seeing Ibra and Crespo in attack. Pele, Maniche in middfield. And would be really happy to see Maicon up and kicking again.

    1) Domination.
    2) Let us play our game.
    3) Let us not let the opponent to play their game.

    I'm getting boring, I know.

If we get another player sent off in this match, or if we played anything like we did against Empoli, I'm going to lose it.

If this game has no refereeing controversies I'll be happy.

Catania make good matches to "big" teams like bbilan and juBentus, so i think that is not gonna be too easy anyway Inter win 2-0, i hope that Figo and Bolzoni play some minutes.

Even though I hardly give a d@mn about what the others think of us, it'd be nice for a change and for us to win a clean match without any furore.

Also, it'd be nice if Crespo or Suazo can grab a goal to boost their confidence. We are reaching the crucial second half of the season, where more and more decisive matches will come at us and we need our goalscorers at their best shape.

Hopefully Cruz can deliver the goals against Pool, there's just 2 matches left for Crespo and Suazo to get their form back before Pool game.

Catania are a very good home team, which they have proven several times this season.

The only reason we won this fixture easy last season was because the game was played in Cesena because of their stadium ban due to that cop getting killed in the riot. It screwed their season completely.

Could be a very difficult game considering our latest below average string of performances.

Vargas, Spinesi and Mascara are great players. Do not underrate this team when they're playing at home. Vargas is probably the best leftback in Serie A this season, we'll see him in a top club 08/09.

I'm really hoping to see Figo plays. Maybe not the whole 90 minutes, but at least some. Like he himself said, "It is clearly up to the coach, but if I don't play then I can't rediscover my touch."

Figo should play this one..maybe Pele too. With an 8 point lead and CL matches approaching, its not a bad time to experiment a bit.

I don't think we should rush on Figo he should play a part but imo not from the start. Catania are a tricky team to beat at hom as Azzkikr correctly said but I hope we can pull off a good performance like we did vs juBe.

If we continue winning games, like these ones, we should be unstoppable for the Scudetto. These are the sorts of games that our rivals (or rival) keeps dropping points.

And as usual, we seem vulnerable in midfield in terms of depth. Kinda strange that Mancini decided to drop Cesar completely. I take it as his red card didn't go well down with Mancini.

Right, so who will be red carded now? I'm putting my money down on Maniche, if he plays.
