    Inter - Juventus (22 Mar 08)

This will set the stage rolling for the big games coming up. A must win for us. We need to beat them in Serie A and stamp our authority.

Jimenez to start surely. And hopefully the good Ibra will be present here.

Make or break game, if we win comfortably, we can surely dampen spirits of Roma.

Everytime JuBe is playing against us at SS I have the same picture in my mind.

Del Pedro(as my friend calls him) and a free kick...

We all know how this bed side story ends.

And I remember how we were awarded an indirect free-kick over a clear-cut foul while Juve a direct free-kick when Nedved pulled off one of his classic dives. And of course that Recoba hit the post in the dying minuted of the game.

Exactly, same here. ANd when we play against Milan, I have a similar picture in my mind:

    Pirlo and a free kick.

Man, Luka really brought back a horrendous memory. All was going well in our Serie A campaign that year. 11 victories in the last 12 matches or something, Oba & Adri started to score like free and then, a 0-0 draw at Livorno and a 2-1 defeat at Fiorentina followed by 1-2 at San Siro loss to Juventus and soon after that the Villarreal tragedy, our 05/06 season ended abruptly. The usual 'spring choking,' Azzkikr would say.

I remember that I was going to watch these two games in Italy. I can't believe how lucky I was when I decided not go. What a disastrous memory that would've been..

There must be a reason for this drop in form during the period.Maybe we should rotate more or something...

I think the only time we didnt drop in form under Mancio was the first year when we went on a good run after christmas..

its not our strikers. its our midfield. We miss the real Stankovic and Cambiasso. They made so much for our team, our play, our strikers chances. Those two are spent having covered 3 qtrs of the season for breakable eggs like Vieira, Figo, dacourt, Jimenez

Every Inter player better be playing like every single Juventus player will **** their wives if they lose.

We still didn't beat this Serie B piece of shit and if they beat us at the San Siro I'll have a mortgage for the rest of my life for the amount of therapy I'll have to pay for.

Ibra if you stick it to these assholes I'll never say anything bad about you again....forza la beneamata!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. A lot has been said about Ibra's inability to perform in big games. Goal.com apparently reported some ex-Italian International saying that Ibra isn't a world class player. I'm not defending Ibra, but I just hope he can perform against Juventus, get a goal or two and show that he is in fact one of the very best right now.

How can a performance against a team who was in Serie B prove his doubters wrong?
