    Genoa - Inter (19 Mar 08)

Mid week game. This is crucial since we need to keep the lead intact before facing Juve, Milan and Fiorentina.
Hoping for an injury and suspension free win.

Materazzi is suspended for this game. Good, because we'll need him to mark Trezeguet later.

We can't rest anyone else or take any risks. This is far from being an easy game, specially that we're playing in Luigi Ferraris. Our last game there (against Sampdoria) wasn't really a nice trip.

    Watch out for Borriello.

Yes, he has that sick Milan blood. And Zanetti won't be rested. Cambiasso maybe but I really doubt Mancio will rest him as well. I guess he would play JZ, Cuchu and Vieira behind Jimenez so they develop a good understanding before the big games.
    Wonder where that leaves Deki

I would definately rest Cambi...I think Pele should be able to handle the pressure there. If we can use Stan i would even rest JZ.

Upfront i would start Crespo-Suazo even though their compatabiltiy is zero maybe with Figo/Jimenez behind them they might do well.

Rest Ibra or bring him in if needed we need him 100% against Juve

Maniche-Pele-Viera with Jimenez in front of them is good option. Crespo and Balotelli in attack may be?

Better one half than nothing :/

I said I didn't know what to expect about the Palermo game, and I was right, when you look to the previous games

Anyway there is something to it. Everytime I'm not watching the game, we're playing incredibly well. I don't won't to be a pesimist here...

Actually it's worse especially if it's first half. It's like them shutting down a movie when your half way through it.

If they have to show only one half I would have preferred the second.

Of course. But if you have a choice between the first half and none?

It's always better to have half an aple, than having no aple right ?

It seems the first half, the video signal will be very good, and in the second we'll have to switch to the p2p streams, and not so very good signal

As Tony Sopranos used to say, "what you gonna do"

We have to take into consideration the Juve match when going into this one.Its obvious some players need resting and i hope Mancio doesnt go into this one by ignoring our next fixture..

I would rather see the full game delayed. I rather follow the game first with scarpini and then watch the full game delayed.

On resting players. Some need to rest but no wholesale changes we need to win this game and hope lazio does us a favour. One game at a time. The serie b chumps can wait.

Some players need to be rested, also let's hope that we can finish off the match early, giving us chance to take off Ibra, Jimenez and Maicon, our only players who have some creativity in their boots.

    Ibra-Suazo
    Jimenez
    Zanetti-Cambiasso-Maniche
    Maxwell-Burdisso-Rivas-Maicon
    J.Cesar

And yes, we really need a favour from Lazio, draw or win for them would rock.
After Lazio: 9 points for Roma.

    30 22/3/08 - 15.00 Roma - Empoli
    31 29/3/08 - 18.00 Cagliari - Roma
    32 5/4/08 - 18.00 Roma - Genoa

I'm sure vieira will do everything to get a yellow so he doesn't need to play against gobbi
anyway, only 3 points are acceptable, nothing else

Vieira and Cuchu (JC too) are on cautions. I'd rather see neither risked when we have Derby d'Italia coming up right after. Genoa are a solid team with strong support at home but they're struggling. We should be able to make-do without some of the regulars.

    JC
    Maicon Rivas Burdisso Chivu*
    Maniche JZ Pele
    Jimegol
    Crespo Suazo

    * I'd vastly prefer Chivu in midfield and Maxwell at LB but I'm not sure if Max is 100%. Not particularly fond of that striking partnership but there aren't many alternatives as Cruz and Ibra need rest.
