    Inter - Fiorentina (13 Apr 08)

After the better performance against Atalanta, let's continue it against Fiorentina! This will be a bittersweet game, as Fiorentina is also competing with Milan for that final 4th CL spot.

We actually have a very good record against them in the Meazza since their promotion in 04/05.

04/05 - We beat them 3-2. Cambiasso, Veron & Cordoba scored. Their 2nd goal was a consolation as Cordoba scored an own goal in the last minute.

05/06 - Matrix & Samuel made Luca Toni's life a living hell, as we manage to win 1-0 through a solitary Martins goal but we should probably score 2-3 more.

06/07 - We beat them 3-1, with Adriano on fire. He scored from a FK before assisting Dejan. Ibrahimovic got the 3rd goal.

We'l win this game. Thank god we dont have a game midweek. Everyone gets a decent rest and mancini will work with the players properly for a week. Hopefully Ibra is back too.

I think Fiorentina will play PSV in UEFA cup on thursday? So there's no excuse not winning this one

If we can get a convincing victory over the Viola, Roma won't catch us... We are regaining our champion mentality and that makes us unbeatable.

Good they have won their last couple of games. So they won't be under too much pressure now even though Milan are striking form.

What if Milan do clinch the fourth place but Fiorentina win UEFA cup?

Winning UEFA cup doesn't get you to CL.

I'll be more than happy if Juve beat Milan and we manage to beat Fiorentina. That should keep the +4 points between them.

But even a draw between the most two boring teams in Italy would be great. Let's not forget that Sampdoria and Udinese can keep Milan behind them if they win.

To be honest, at the moment Milan are doing well and Juve is the team looking most likely to beat them especially seeing how bad we have been. Juve's loss to Palermo should make them even more determined.

Everything should be alright if we start with same formation, may be Jimenez instead of Stank and Ibra instead of Crespo. Viera, Zanetti and Cambiasso are all good, but they r a bit heavy, and our midfield becomes even more heavy with Stank. Yes it's very good for defensive purpose, but our offense looks awful that way. Stankovic is very good in counter-attacks, because he has decent final pass, it would be even more useful against Viola, team that concedes too much on counters. So, he should come on in second half, when we will already be in front. This will make our defence more solid, especially on right flank, which sometimes is not so strong defensively because Viera tends to play in more central role. On other hand it will give us fair chance on breaks.

Ibra-Balotelli-Jimenez, we haven't seen this attacking trident yet, but i think that it can be magnificent. Fast, furious, tricky, dangerous, clinical.
    Anyways, Balotelli is a must.

Of course, he is. But, Mancini is pretty stubborn, as we saw in Stankovic's case... So, i am pretty sure that we will see Ibra.

Ibra deserves the rest though. Pushing a player through injury when he doesn't need it will only keep Ibra under 100% for longer..

I think if Ibra is not ready it's not logical to play him. But if he's enough ready he's our best striker already.
