The likes of Schalke,Roma,Lyon,Tottenhan Hotspur (FFS) are above us in terms of Club value.

How is that possible i have got no clue.

Only positive is that we've got no Debts but we are far behind in Operating Income,Revenues.

Also Bayern Munich at 5 and Barcelona at 7 relatively down for them is a surprise.

I can only hope that Forbes evaluation is not accurate future is not looking bright.

Good thing we have a sugar daddy in Moratti. I wouldn't worry too much about the future of our club. Inter has been one of the most prestigious European clubs since it's creation, 100 years ago. That's not gonna change anytime soon, regardless of the value of our club.

Besides, who the fvck wants to support the likes of Man Utd or Real Madrid anyways? What glory/pride is there in winning when you can spend €100 million every summer?

Roma and Schalke above us are the two major surprises. Lyon can be considered since they are the dominant force in France. Spurs I won't be surprised if Barnsley is above us too.

I too am surprised that Roma, Schalke and Spurs are above us…

I don’t know about Spurs… They do have major support… More so than Chelsea (In England at least) And they have plans to build a new 60,000 capacity stadium, and if they had that they would most definitely pack it out every week. They have a season ticket waiting list of over 25,000… I know because my Dad is on it. And to even get on the list, you need to be a member of the club, which costs around £25, so that could be why. Also they are based in a rich part of London, I’m not sure if that would help?

Inter needs to do something to look better on that list.I am not saying we need to be the richest,we just need to market ourselves better for the fans and cash..

If only i was in charge of International Marketing at Inter...I would make us the most profitable and the team with the biggest fan base.

    Chelsea
    West Ham

    Crystal Palace
    Queens Park Rangers
    Fulham

I’d say that’s accurate… There are a few more teams but with little support.

i for one don't care where we stand on the rich list... $$$ is the dark side of this beautiful game. I love Inter because of the inter badge on the jersey not for how much we have in the bank. trust me, we have money...

    Does this seem correct

    http://www.goal.com/en/news/1705/rea...b-in-the-world

Milan are the richest Italian club, however, they are eighth overall with €210m.

The Old Lady of Italian football, Juventus, are 11th in the list. The Bianconeri are the poorest earners out of the top four clubs in Serie A. Roma are behind Milan on €175m, followed by Inter on €173m and finally Juve on €168.
So Roma have more money than us???

Every year in feb. Deliotte publish these reports, and every year its with the same questions. Do you really think Inter is only worth 173mill Euros? For a squad who earns about 120mill/year, do you really think that squad is only worth 173mill.

Its the revenue list. Its not even an income list, let alone showing the real net worth of a club. Revenue that the clubs earned in the past year. It doesnt make one club richer than the other. Its basing its estimates on gates reciepts, T.V. rights and Sponsors. Capital gains or losses resulting from net player exchange are not even into account.

Roma might have earned more than us last year. They went one round further than us in the CL, and remember they played two of the biggest errrrrr, scrap that, two of the most over glorified clubs in the world, in the knock outs, and probably made sweet load of money from TV rights for that game.

Jube are just below us, 5millions less, which is no surprise since they werent in CL. And when they are in CL, they usually earn with the likes of Real, Barca and ManU. They have too many dumb idiots supporting them in the world.

The only one thats funny is Bayern Munich. I refuse to beileve that they are at 4th, and earned more than Chelsea last term. They werent even in CL.

Its once again Deloitte feeling useless and pulling numbers out of their asses, so stupid papers like Corriere Dello Sports can pay them to make some money, considering that Deloitte has absolutely no way of knowing these actual numbers, and are pulling random estimates out of their asses. Assuming that this list is true, it still wont show anything, except for which club is more popular around the world.

Also by April Forbes start getting bored, and come up with their money value list, which according to them shows the net worth of a club. They probably get a Chinese kid from south Japan, ask him to blurt out club names, and then match it with numbers.

List is based on revenue. List should be based on net income. Also I find it hard to believe that these figures would be accurate. I really doubt private clubs like Inter allow these guys to go and have a look at their books.

Biggest problem for us : most of the income comes from the TV-deals.

(Mediaset pays 100-110 milllion for a year)

We have too low merchandising-income. MU, Real are very strong in this term. Lots of mugs, T-shirts, pens, etc. are sold to their stupid fans

Another problem : year by year we have fewer revenue in this list of Deloitte:

1 year ago we were 9th place with 195 million

2 year ago we were 7th place with 206 million

    Here's the full report: http://drop.io/py0wh6o/asset/uk-sbg-deloittefml2009-pdf

I encourage you to read all of it if you are interested in the business of football. Their entire methodology is explained in the beginning. It's not a net worth list, but it's the best we can get with information available publicly from all these clubs, and it works as a metric to explain how clubs did relative to each other in a period of one year.

The last part talking about the economic conditions is especially interesting as well.

    Some highlights for me:
    - Milan made a lot of money from long term deals ending 2010 and 2017. They will make much less this year since they have already recieved a lot of money up front. This explain signings like Becks and Dinho as a last ditch effort to gain more broadcasting, attendance, and merchendising. They are in a very tight spot this year, and risk a substantial drop in revenue if they don't do something soon...

    - Roma have done excellent over the years... from having the club's fate at risk, to being where they are. Despite the contribution of CL, they still succeeded in other areas (see below)

    - In terms of stadium attendance, top three increases this year were Roma (16%!) Milan (8%) and Inter (4%)... only liverpool came next with 2% and most other teams went down! Overall, Serie A has done very, very well in increasing attendance. New stadiums coming on soon will only help.

    - I'm most impressed by Bayern Munich. Even without CL this year, they have doubled their revenue in 5 years. Think about it... their broadcasting revenue is even lower than anyone in the top 10 because of their crappy league. To me, they are the epitomy of a perfectly managed club, running as a proper organization with professionals at the helm. They are a role model for me and I wish to see Inter following their lead.

    - One thing I don't get is why Liverpool's matchday revenue sucks so much. For a club with so many devoted fans, it didn't make sense to me. They made less than half of any other top team (Livepool 49.5, Manchester 128.2, Chelsea 94.1, Arsenal 119.5)

    - I won't say anything about Inter because you have to read that page at the very least :p

shazy you were being a bit negative about this report... Give it another chance and forget about the chinese kid punching random numbers, it's a worthwhile read for any football fan.
