    Spain - Germany (Final) (29 Jun 08)

Maybe Ballack misses the game, bad news for Germany.

Spain don't have Villa so Luis Aragones will probably field 5 midfielders.

    Casillas
    Ramos Puyol Marchena Capdevila
    Senna Xavi
    Iniesta - Cesc - Silva
    Torres

This formation would actually suit them better. Villa's injury could be a blessing in disguise.
Silva and Iniesta are better when playing as wing forwards. And with Fabregas and Xavi supporting them, they look very formidable today.

My prediction before the tournament was that Spain will win EURO. I should have put some money on them.

I never thought id root for Germany in a final, but ill go that far today.

I simply cant support a team where Torres aka diving piece of shit plays.

Gotta love the Spanish Midfield. If half of them travel in different flights and one of them gets hijacked still they can be so formidable.

I have no choice but to hope that Germany wins.

Torres and Marchena are enough reasons.

    ANy news on Ballack???

This poor guy is cursed, missing out on a WC final and CL final.Too bad as he is a great leader for the Germans.I hope he can play so we see full strength midfields at least.

Oh man, what a Final to me. A hated team aginst more hated team. What are the odds.

Either way it will go, it will be a little dissapointing, and frankly I don't care since Russia has been crushed.

The only thing that could draw me more towards Germany is the polish accent in this game, and that is Podolski.

I am pretty neutral to both the sides, so I dont really care who wins.
I am still going with Germany, cause I hate Torres.

I would anyday take Germany over Spain.
But more reasons are Torres the bitch and I would hate to see Ballack losing again.

After CL02, WC02, CL08...it would be such a pity to have him lose again.

So spain actually wins something, who would have thought that before the tournament. Perhaps their choking days are over.

Anyways, they were clearly the best team in this Euro, deserved win.

Shit, I can't say "Play like never, loose as always" anymore

But one thing is certain, that they totaly deserved that. Germany had easy group, and on the road to the final won only against Portugal, that could be considered as strong opponent. Spain had to win against Italy, that was on uphill, and against the revelation Russia.

    Well deserved.

    Damn

Yeah...Spain deserved it. Although it would have felt better if it wasn't freakin' Torres who scored the winning goal. ... Also I feel for Ballack. First Chelsea, and now this.

Torres is always an ass, so he doesn't even need a nomination...
