    Massive Rivalries

We (Shamrock Rovers) play our massive vicious rivals Bohemians on Tuesday night in a big Dublin Derby. Cant wait for it, nothing like big derby day against your rivals. Finish work early then have a few pints then to the match full of nerves and waiting for a brilliant atmosphere. Cant beat this match for me.
Anyway would love to beat them, beating Bohs is special.

What are other rivalries around Europe that get decent attendances and both sets of fans hate each other with a passion that people might not really know about?? Any of yas head to any matches like this?? Tellin ya they cant be beaten, love the atmosphere in these type of matches

In Indian football, Mohun Bagan - East Bengal is one of the fiercest rivalries.
In their games, the city is divided into two halves with East Bengal supporters carrying Hilsa(a fish) with them and celebrate a victory eating the fish. Mohun Bagan supporters on the other hand celebrate by eating prawns.

The matches are played in the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata which I believe can hold around 120,000 and is packed with fans during the games.

In cricket terms, Australia-India has outgrown that.

nice derby coming back this year, Lecco relegated to C2, Como going back up to C2, should make a brilliant match.

a derby has gone because Ulpiana now is in Superleague.

I am talking about my village's team KF Arbëria and my town's team FC Ulpiana.

Always even Arberia was weaker during the season Ulpiana never won.

Hajduk Split - Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia.

Cant be bigger then that here. No matter how strong or weak other club is, its always a massive derby. even if someone has 20 points more and its game that decides nothing.

    brillant, but usually poor game
