    Milan - Inter (28 Sep 08)

    Derby Della Madanonina!

Oh my god we came to this. I hope we will regreat, we were poor against Lecce, so I hope we will get better against these fvcking neighbours. AC won in the last two of them against Reggina and Lazio, so I am a bit scared they could make a win against us, hopefully not...

    FORZA INTER!!!!!

The only thing they have over us is midfield and offcourse Kaka.

I saw the first half against Reggina and if they defend against us this way, they will be in a lot of trouble. Expect them to pick up their game.

Lecce was a different game, they parked their team bus in front of the goal, BBilan have to win, they cant do that.

Apparently Borrielo got injured, So most likely sheva-pato upfront. Also flamini should have gotten a red last game.

This will be a massive game, and can easily set up this years season.

If we will win this game, we will get a huge psychological advantage over other teams, because Milan just got their little momentum.

If Milan will win, it will be no tragic. We will at worst fall to like 2nd or 3rd place, while Milan will close the gap to the top.

But I hope we won't loose it, draw at worst.

I think that it will be an one-goal game.Mourinho and Ancelotti will target for clean sheet and then try to win.

I am optimistic that we can make it,but if we lose,it won't be the end of the world.

I agree partialy Luka. If we win it it will give us an edge and it's likely we could see an Inter that coast through Serie A and builds up a massive point lead at Christmas, like last few years. However, I feel that if we lose, it will boost Milan much in the same way it did for us in 06/07. A draw would be a good result, a win would be Nirvana and a loss wouldn't be disaser but it could very well decide Milan's entire season.

I hope Jose knows what to do (Ok that sounded weird ). That means put all the pressure on Milan to win this one.

Exactly. A Derby is not just about 3 points, it's not about life & death, it's not about the end of the world; it's much more than that.

This is definitely the most important Derby in the last 3 years though. In 06/07 and 07/08, Milan were not a challenger in the Serie A but this season, since it happens so early, they're still in contention and are in a good form after 3 wins on the trot. I have not felt so hyped up about a Derby since the first one in 03/04. Gonna be sick in my stomach all week long.

Yeah. Btw, do you really mean the first derby in 03/04? The one we lost 1-3 and eventually because of that defeat, Cuper was sacked (sacking was after the next match).

Indeed. It was the revenge match for the EuroDerby I.

Which turned out to be one of the worst day ever as an Interista.

Boriello is injured, so I guess thats good news for us. He is by far the best number 9 at Milan.
Pirlo being injured is also a very positive thing for us.
Sheva has been out of form for more than 2 years, and has yet to score for Milan on his return, but I still get this uneasy feeling seeing him play against us.
I hope Ancelotti has another one of his brilliant moments, and starts Ronnie against us.

This is a very special derby for me. It's my first official match watching inter from the stands other than the friendly against Valencia, which we lost.

Losing in unacceptable! It would be the end of the world for me, going all the way to Milan to see Inter losing is just horrible. I'm hoping for a win, but if we can't win it let's just hope for a draw.

Hopefully Ancelotti will start Ronnie infront of Seedorf, he'll probably do nothing and just smile around like a fu**ing clown.

I'd pick this line-up for the derby (if it's 4-3-3)

    ------------- Cesar-------------
    Maicon - Cordoba - Chivu - Maxwell
    Zanetti - Cambiasso- Vieira-
    Ibra-------------Mancini
    -------- Cruz ------------

But this is only me, I expect Mou to start Adriano over Cruz (Even though the latter keeps fu**ing them each derby since 2006 )

I'd like to see the 4-4-2 we saw against Catania, but the front 4 would be Figo(off at early second half but I'd like to have him so we can score from set pieces), Mancini (more efficient than RQ), and of course Ibra and Cruz (Do I really need to explain why ?)

Goto an Italian bar. Or get FSC.

Huge game so early in the season. As said, anything other than a win is unacceptable even if we haven't looked like world-beaters just yet. Milan are missing some key players but like always in a derby, it'll be tough regardless. Their defense is soft. Mou needs to exploit it by going with an attacking lineup from the 1st minute. Going into derbies leaves my stomach in knots....

I don't know if Borriello being out is a big plus for us. It means Sheva will start and surely he won't find a better occasion to start off scoring.
Seeing Mourinho in place of Mancini reduces a lot of my worries though.

The thing to worry about is the Kaka-Pato combination, they seem to have great understanding between eachother, they will be deadly when Pato develops abit more, but they are already looking great.

I doubt we will win this game, a draw is the most likely result.

With Boriello hurt...we'll probably see the crappy Christmas tree formation = one striker.

I can see Ancelotti playing this one extra careful, hoping not to conceed.

We've conceeded goals to Bologna, Reggina, & Genoa. So since our defence is crap....(which means you guys will probably score regardless of our formation) what he should do is throw on 2 strikers, attack & try to win 4-3 instead of playing defensively & trying to win 1-0 or 2-1.

In the Milan camp i'm in the minority on that.

BTW - UR lucky...Cruz saved ur asses yesterday.
