    Alen Stevanovic

    From inter.it:

Highly rated Serbian youth international Alen Stevanovic has signed from FK Radnicki Obrenovac. The 18-year-old midfielder will play for Vincenzo Esposito's Inter Primavera. Another January addition to Inter's Under-19 squad is left-back Juri Toppan, who joins on a permanent contract from Swiss club La Chaux de Fouds.
He seems to be a great player on midfield. In Serbia they call him the new "Zidane". Ofcourse this doesn't mean anything, but it says something about his playing style.
It seems to be a great deal. I'm happy with our scouts! We have such a great youth!

He scored a goal in the first primavera friendly this year and i thought that this could be his year because the last one was the first for him away from home but the fact he hasn't been convocated with the first team for the tim cup like crisetig means that maybe he's not so talented as people speak about him.

Man how i hope we only have 16-18 senior players and the rest are these youth players... But this is not quite possible as we are playing in Italia(high injury rate)....

Over the last few years, Dejan Stankovic and also Sinisa Mihajlovic opened Inter’s door to Serbian players. They recommended few talented players from this Balkan country famous for excellent results in youth categories. It is less known that Sinisa Mihajlovic spent time convincing Moratti to bring Branislav Ivanovic back when he was at the target of English clubs. Italians hesitated and later on the price on Ivanovic in Lokomotiv Moscow grew to the one only Chelsea could pay.

Now, Inter are determined not to make the same mistake again. They reacted on the scouts’ warnings so one of Europe’s most talented young players, Alen Stevanovic might just sign for Italian champions. Stevanovic is a Serb, but he is the son of Swiss immigrant. He is an 18-year old, raised in Zurich, who can play as offensive midfielder or even as a second striker. A season and a half ago, he caught the eye of Torino and Sampdoria scouting but he was determined to refuse, being that he believed he will end up in the big club. Obviously, Stevanovic was well aware of his quality as he is already in Inter sports centre Appiano Gentile and the way things are now, the club is very interested in hiring him. He drew a lot of attention and Jose Mourinho himself, at first suspicious about the scouting reports, is now impressed with what he saw.

Stevanovic is compared to Zidane in Switzerland; he went through youth national teams in Switzerland that has in the last ten years been a real talent factory. It is usually the second generation of foreign workers that saw their big opportunity in football. They combined hard working in youth squads with extraordinary talent.

Inter counts on Dejan Stankovic to help him fit in, and Stevanovic will probably spent the second part of the season gaining experience on loan in some of Serie B clubs.

No we can't. Mourinho wanted to create an atmosfere like Ajax and Barcelona. He wants to bring the youth closer to the first team. So he asked for 2 new training pitches (wich has been given a few weeks ago).

And from now on he will always let some primavera players train with the players from the first squad. Fulvio Pea was very happy with this co-operation. I think it can be only good for our talents. But it doesn't mean that they will be used in Serie A matches. Maybe some of them can play in the Coppa Italia.

Yeah of course , i was only kidding .
Since you mentioned it a great news for us is that livorno beat samp in the italy cup so when time comes we'll face livorno and not samp. Probably they will use 2nd team giving us the possibility to test some promising youngsters and arnautovic.

The training pitch he asked is the one that resembles Chelsea's, which he can train three different tactics at once. It does not involve youth trainings.

    Mourinho said on inter.it:

"I am very happy with the new trainings pitches. I asked for this because the pitches before were often in bad condition. It's pretty unique what we have build now. We can now offer the players of the primavera to train often with the first squad, we can now use a lot of space and we can now train on a good pitch."

Then he said this is a good step for the future of Inter. Specially because it wasn't possibile before for the primavera players to train mixed with the first squad.

Also Mattia Destro said that he is very happy with this new thing. He said he loved training with Zanetti for example and he hopes to be in the first squad one day.

So it does involve the youth trainings.
