this one could be tricky, coz torino will have to start the relegation battle very soon. and they're the best side in torino
i definitely don't want to see cruz starting again, even without muntari i don't believe we'll play 433 so the midfield will probably be the same as today only chivu (if fit) instead of muntari.
Impazzisco per te, questo e canto d'amor

Well maybe Mourinho will shuffle the mid and test out Quaresma on one of the wings... I doubt Chivu will be available.

Muntari and Adriano out definitely. Glad to see Jose back on the bench. We are getting into important phase of the season and I hope Mario will start integrating back into the team. Cruz and Crespo have not shown anything so far that they are worthy of regular starts. Meanwhile things still look quite hapless for our two wingers. The only thing I can hope for is health of Ibra, JZ, Deki, Cambiasso, Maicon.
Vieira could be back for this one but I doubt Samuel or Chivu can make it so our backs may stay unchanged from last game. I know Vieira is a bitch but he still could be important and useful at a time like this. Getting him game fit before derby and Man Utd could prove fruitful.
If i see Chivu anywhere near MF i will whine all match long.

Quaresma can be interesting. But, i will be content with Maxwell. He shows good understanding with Ibra.

Quaresma is just for the bench.
(Everytime I say we will see him, he never plays)
Everything a man should be. We miss you Cipe.

Its time to give RQ another shot.
Mancini got a chance against Samp, but failed.
I say we give RQ a chance here. Torino are terrible anyways, we shouldnt be able to not win this game.
It seems fair enough too, given that Muntari and Chivu (i think) are out.
We need this guy to find form sooner or later, and he will be useful against Man Utd.
Fielding him against Torino is the perfect opportunity for him to prove himself and hopefully give him some confidence. He could perform badly again, but i'm willing to take that risk, because like you said, i think we should be beating Torino either way.
I am calling for Ricky Q to start this game as well. If he perform poorly again, switch Mancini on. Torino is doing really bad this season but we should still be careful and mark Rosina. A flat 4-4-2 is what I am thinking of,

Friday, 30 January 2009 16:39:06
ROME - (ANSA) - Italian footballers union AIC on Friday announced a 15-minute delay to weekend play to protest a one-year doping ban handed down on two players who showed up late for a Serie B drugs test.
All matches in Serie A and B will start a quarter of an hour late in a show of solidarity with former Brescia winger Daniele Mannini, who is now at Serie A club Napoli, and Brescia striker Davide Possanzini.
The Italian Soccer Federation (FIGC) said Friday it would meet next Thursday with the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI), Italian sport's ruling body.
FIGC said it was already looking at possible recourse against Thursday's ruling by world sport's top court, the Lausanne-based Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

I see it exactly the same as lonewolf. Santon has been doing a good job lately, I'm proud of him, he may not be anywhere near as talented as Balotelli but he works hard, I think that's what Maurinho likes to see the most.
Anyways, Quaresma hasn't played in forever, they should definitely play him.
Disciplinary info:
Inter
Cautioned: Balotelli, Chivu, Quaresma.
Disqualified: Adriano (2 games), Muntari.
Torino
Cautioned: Amoruso, Colombo.
Disqualified: -
Portieri: 1 Francesco Toldo, 12 Julio Cesar, 22 Paolo Orlandoni;
Difensori: 2 Ivan Cordoba, 6 Maxwell, 13 Maicon, 16 Nicolas Burdisso, 24 Nelson Rivas, 39 Davide Santon;
Centrocampisti: 4 Javier Zanetti, 5 Dejan Stankovic, 7 Luis Figo, 11 Luis Jimenez, 19 Esteban Cambiasso, 33 Amantino Mancini, 77 Ricardo Quaresma;
Attaccanti: 8 Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 9 Julio Cruz, 18 Hernan Crespo.
It's rumoured Maxwell could take Muntari's spot on the midfield so that Stankovic can continue to play as AM. Too bad Cruz is probably going to start again.
Mario left out again. I hope this will be the last time. We are definitely going to need him sometime in the season.
Technically Maxwell is one of our best players. I really have some belief that he can be revelation in midfield. He couldn't be worse than Chivu, that's for sure.
