We play on the 4th,then 7th (Gen) then 11th(Manu)...

I think we should start those who arent playing United in this one completely..

Vieira should play the whole match or at least start it as he's suspended for the Genoa match. Hopefully Samuel will be also ready soon, maybe in the bench for this one. After all, this isn't so important match as we have the 2nd leg still and it's at the Meazza.

Should def start Balotelli to build on his recent form and have him firing goin into the Manure match, could be the surprise factor we need.

Sampdoria are in good form recently, Pazzini and Cassano are a real threat, should be a tricky match, especially if we start some fringe players.

Definitely Vieira, Balotelli to start. We want them to be on form against Man Utd. They can be extra weapon on the pitch. Time to rest some of the important players as well.

    Toldo
    Santon-Matrix-Cordoba-Maxwell
    JZ-Muntari-Vieira
    Jimenez/Figo/Mancini
    Balotelli-Crespo

My lineup would be like this:

    Toldo
    JZ - Materazzi - Cordoba - Maxwell
    Viera - Muntari - Stan
    Jiminez - Mancini
    Balotelli

There won't be fringe players. Jose will play to win this.

I expect at least Adriano and Mario up front.

Expect to see Muntari in there to try to regain his form.

I expect also to see Santon and probably Viera.

I doubt Mancini will get off the bench.

Crespo, Cruz, or Figo instead of Stankovic.

    Walter Samuel,

Mourinho should rotate though otherwise our players will burn out. We have a big squad - USE IT!

HUGE Squad is more like it. I think the writing is on the wall for a bunch of them that won't be back next year.

I think at this point he is trying to find the right squad for the away leg against Man U.

Mourinho should use rotation as this is an away match and a 1st leg. We can finish it off at Meazza.

At least Mancini used fringe players every now and again as he knew it was important on a human level for a player to actually play but I'm starting to get pissed off by the lack of playing time given to some of our players, in particular Jimenez and Mancini.

No Figo, Santon, Ibra, as well as Samuel, Chivu and Burdisso. Interesting which line-up we will field.

A bit concerned with the extent of injuries.

Leaving out injured quintet Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Walter Samuel, Nicolas Burdisso, Christian Chivu and Francesco Bolzoni.

Davide Santon is unavailable after going down with the flu

Our team should spend a week in Genoa. Interesting.

Those injuries are brutal. Samuel and Chivu are crucial.

Mario & Adriano up front seem the obvious choices.

I would like to see Muntari and Viera play as well.

Maxwell returning to LB in Santon's absence.

In 06/07, we faced Sampdoria for 3 consecutive matches. Damn, we really are destined with that city.
