    Juventus - Inter (18 Apr 09)

As it's getting closer till this match I belive its the right time to open this topic and close the last one.

We're going into this match with quite big confidence having 10 points of adventage over them, while they are pressured by the fact that if they loose, they can definitely forget about scudetto.

Samuel should be fit for this match already but not sure if Mourinho will put him on the pitch without match fitness. Not sure how about J.Cesar.

Can anyone post how does their injured side look like and who will not be able to play becouse of cards?

Forza Inter. We can do it.

I'm afraid of this 10 points gap because of the mentality of our players... I hope José don't let them be lazy.

I think Julio will be ready.

I read that Amauri and Sissoko will be out and this is good for us, both of them are amongst their best players.

Camoranesi and Marchisio are suspended and maybe grygera will get a ban for a foul.

Weren't they saying that Amauri would be fit?

And of course due to the hypocrisy in Serie A, Nedved won't be banned for intentionally splitting a guy's head open. There isn't even any news about reviewing video evidence.

Who would start then? Maicon is still injured. JZ? Chivu? Mei? Rigione?

Well, Michele Rigione was called up for training not so long ago. But I doubt Mou would start him against Juve. Maybe in Coppa Italia.

Maxwell sucks defensively. We should play Chivu in his place, Samuel and Cordoba as CBs and give slightly more freedom to Santon on right.

However, I think that Santon did better when he swapped to LB after Maxwell's substitution. He seems more confident when he plays as LB. When he started as a RB against Palermo he lost the ball on several occassions.

But of course, you can't judge his performance after only 1 game, but I'd rather play him as a LB.

Maxwell won't start this game. Pretty sure chivu will play lb and cordoba-sameul in the centre with santon at rb.

Knowing Mourinho, he might start Burdisso instead of Cordoba, but I doubt it. Burdisso has improved a bit anyway, he's not that bad. I'm starting to like him.

Yeah, Chivu is actually a LB. He might start as a LB.

I can't wait for Maicon to come back for Santon's sake. On the right he was almost non-existent for us in the two games he played. He played much better on the left against Palermo when he was switched there too.

Juve are lacking a lot of confidence at the back so i don't see us having any problems scoring goals against them. They have let in 6 goals in 2 games... They will struggle against us.

Juve will be extra motivated for this match and I hope we wont let that down. Their defense is truly horrible at the moment and Buffon conceded quite a bit lately.

JC and Samuel will be back and we will be at full strength minus Miacon. Camo and Marchiso (spell) will be out but I heard Amauri will be fit.

Let us hope for a great result at Turin. It is always special to beat Juve. Forza Inter

I want Mourinho to tease juve a bit and use some Primavera players! I can't see us losing this game, unless some major events occur, like juventus getting a milion fouls outside the area, our players booked for nothing, weird penalties etc...

10 points with 7 matches left...Suddenly this match doesn't sound too decisive at all.

    Grande JC. We need him.

    Julio Cesar fit for Juve

Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar looks set to appear against Juventus next weekend after returning to training ahead of schedule.

The 29-year-old Brazil international missed Saturday's game with Palermo after pulling an abductor muscle in his right leg the weekend beforehand.

Veteran goalkeeper Francesco Toldo stepped in for him and did little to comfort Jose Mourinho, conceding two avoidable goals.

Cesar arrived at training this morning, though, and took part in a game of five-a-side in which he made a series of fine acrobatic saves.

The news comes as a boost to Inter, who can move 13 points clear at the top of Serie A by beating Juventus this weekend.

Cesar has been one of Inter's best performers this season and is now considered the No 1 goalkeeper in the world.
