''This has to be Inter's year,new regime,new manager,new players.''
''If Inter doesn't win now they never will, they have great players.''
''My tip for this seasons Serie A? Inter thanks to their cheap players.''
This is the talk going on in bars all over Italy by Inter supporters who look exhausted in failure. In fact half the nation is saying it this time. But why should it be any different? After all after the good in the transfer market, now the bad(Cannavaro leaving) and the ugly(Lazio demanding more for Cesar) has come out at it's biggest.
Inters transfer campaign had been hailed a success by everybody:A new cost effective campaign, the motto almost was,
More quality,less price!
And rightly so,afterall players such as Edgar Davids(free),Esteban Cambiasso(free),'Seba Veron(loan),Mihajlovic(free),Favalli(free),Ze Maria and Burdisso(a couple of million Euros each) have arrived, players with great ability.
Not only that but Inter also got rid of unneeded players such as Steohane Dalmat,Okan Buruk,Sabri Lamouchi,Matias Almeyda,Alberto Gamarra and Daniele Adani leaving.Even though the sum of money that they all gained Inter transfer fees is minimal, many millions of Euros have been saved in future wages for the Ex players.
So it was going great and with the club still followingf Cesar of whom we were great favourites to get it finally looked like Inter would have the perfect squad:

A good mixture of indispensable players, first team plaers, reserve players, back up players and basic squad players to keep the numbers up.31 in total,it may sound like a lot but in the middle of the season it could be our secret weapon against rivals who have less squad numbers. But in the last couple of weeks/days no less than 7 of our players have been rumoured to move club, they are:
Nicola Ventola - To Crystal Palace
Would not be a vital gap in the team but he is a capable forward who gives his all for Inter.
Andy Van Der Meyde - To ??
Reports have cooled down a bit now but a move could be on the cards still. Not said to be very happy at Inter.
Kily Gonzalez - To Tottanham(among a few)
Did well last season but with so many new players is apparently not needed. No pre season due to Olympics won't get Mancini to know him better either.
Giorgios Karagounis - To Lazio
Nobody really wants him to go but he could be an important part in the bid for Lazio player Cesar.
Gonzalo Sorondo - To Crystal Palace
Again not really needed but was a player that could back up well, especially with our apparent shortage of defenders right now.
Francesco Coco - To Lazio
People still believe he can do a job for Inter and so do I.However just like Karagounis he could play a major factor in our race to get Cesar.
Fabio Cannavaro - To Juventus
Our most high profile and likely transfer to go through.A massive amount of people want the Italy captain to stay. And rightly so,sure he has really imposed himself but we payed a big amount for him just 2 years ago and we shoudl still keep him at least until 2006.DONT GO CANNAVARO!
In the unlikely case that all these sales to go ahead we would be laft with a paltry 26 players(considering Carini and Cesar coming) which is quite small compared to the first amount shown.
As I write there are less than 24 hours of transfer activity left, but get ready for the most explosive day of transfer activity involving Inter and their players.!IT'S NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED!
Lets just hope that the good overshines the bad and the ugly tomorrow!
