    Maybe Toldo? Against Palermo in his last match (so far) he was 37y 4m and 9d. I didn't find anybody older.

    But it's quite possible that somone in the early years of football (at that time they can play till 40 or more)

    Yes, he was till 2005 our goalkeeper he was 38 at that time. His last match was Siena-Inter 2-2 in 2004 december.

    But Toldo can achieve higher age i think because he extended his contract.

    I was pretty sure it was Bergomi. But come to think about it, it 's likely to be a GK and Fontana seems like a very sensible name.

    i checked, Bergomi, Zenga, Baresi but they were younger in their last matches.
