    Inter - Catania (24 Oct 09)

Since no one has made this I guess I'll do it. I don't think I've made one in almost a year, I think.

We should win this game comfortably. I hope we get goals from Eto'o, Sniejder and Milito. And that Motta and Milito come back for this game.

    Forza Inter!

If Motta comes back, it will be very interesting to see which of the midfielders Mou drops.

Well if Motta is fit to start then Zanetti should be the one to make way. Given we have Balotelli, Eto'o and Milito (?) available, we should start with 4 midfielders. So Muntari gets out for sure, hopefully for good, have some trust on Krhin please. It's hard to see Zanetti benched so I guess it's left back for him, or rest Cambiasso and put Zanetti on his position.
Mourinho doesn't slowly introduce players back from injuries so I'll guess Motta will start aswell.

I can't wait for this match. We should be able to see the midfield at full strength for the first time this season (if Motta is used of course). I hope we move Zanetti back to defence at least at some point in the game and put Motta in midfield.

Well, seeing how Zanetti is breaking some records (the guy has not missed a single match since 2006), i don't see him getting benched anytime soon unless he gets hit by a car. And Muntari is sure to be dropped as soon as we have two available strikers.

Meanwhile, today the team of Mourinho back to work. Saturday, against Catania, with a stop for both Eto'o and Cambiasso (precaution reasons), while Milito will go to the bench. Then, the team will try the "Christmas Tree" formation once again, with Stankovic in front of the defense, Sneijder and Motta as the playmaker behind Balotelli. In defense could be the return of Santon, who on Sky said: "Mourinho rightly expects much more from me."

Rotation is not a bad thing. We have a mid-week match against Palermo so resting Maicon is okay.

If that lineup posted by Inter Forever will happen, it will be interesting to see how Motta will do in that role. He's pretty static compared to Stankovic. Maybe he will get more out from himself in that kind of role.

We will win this match 100%.

I think that 4-3-2-1 will be used, with Eto'o as a striker and Sneijder and Deki behind him.Motta should be in at some point of game.

This could be a game for Materazzi,Cordoba,Santon...

^^Some people here said we will thrash Bari 6-0 too...

Anyways there is nothing worng with rotation and we should make sure the best starting lineup is ready for the clash in Kiev.I wouldnt mind using Viera and Santon as starters in this one.

I really don't want us to rush players back i.e Milito, Motta, even Eto'o. The best is for them to be eased back into playing regularly, I don't get the impression this is happening at the moment.

I'd like to see Santon play this game or at least some of it.
I'd also like for Vieira to start ahead of Muntari if Cambiasso cannot make it, and ideally I'd like to see Krhin at some stage. The recent rumours surrounding Krhin and the supposed interest from big clubs in Germany and England don't worry me, but make me a little more interested to see more of what he can offer.

I just hope he doesn't become Bolzoni 2.

Wouldn't it more likely mean Santon will come in for Chivu?? I do not think Maicon will be rested, if Santon starts, I expect it to be on the left side.

I expect us to field the exact same starting lineup we had against Genoa.
