So next season clubs should field at least 4 home-country player at the starting line-up?

i think this rule isn't applied yet.

We will suck if this happen.

I do not think this will go through. It is illegal to only allow certain nationalities in the first team, all nationalities must be given an equal opportunity, jusy like with any other job...

Dear Santa, the past year, you took my favorite singer, Michael Jackson and my favorite actor, Patrick Swayze.
I want you to know for the next year, that Milan is my favorite oldie, and Juventus is my favorite bitch.

No i'm pretty sure it's only players that are eligable to play for the italian national team. Like santon , matrix and not zanetti although he has EU citizenship

In the long run it will kill the Premiership teams which is a good thing. The English produce very few exceptional players and almost totally rely on imports. I know it would affect us in the short term but Italians are generally better footballers and so we would have more available to us than United for example.

I think he's right. The EU did actually say it was legal but only on the grounds that its to promote the national teams. Thats what I heard anyway.

This could see the end of the premierships dominance.

The EU did not approve this rule because it was going against some workforce mobility law thing. So last time I checked a compromise still had to be made between UEFA and EU. Also I think the implementation date was talked to be around 2012 (not sure tho).
