As far as I know that's the list about turnover (not income or profit). I'm not a business expert myself but I think that turnover has nothing to do with being rich.

Don't forget that also Leeds United is on the list and they are in liquidation. I think whole list is all about soccerage's bullshit which is basically misleading people.

Well, I don't care what a turnover is but I'm quite sure that no club in the world can erase 100 Million Euros of debt in just 1 or 2 years. Ecspecially for us, who have no strong fan support, have to pay huge salary and have been buying players.

WOW! Im surprised they can still operate with that huge debt hanging over their heads. I dont think they can handle that type of forever, would hate to see another "Lazio" happen with Inter. Can anyone imagine J. Zanetti playing for Milan??? (shudder to think)

Stefan, we may have one of the best attendance record. But we lose out in terms of popularity and merchandising. Look at Juventus for example. The Delle Alpi is always half-empty at least yet they're still financially healthy.

Unless we start winning something, I don't believe that we will have the enough fan support base from merchandising etc etc. I can't blame the non-Interisti though. Who would wanna support a team like our current Inter???

Han, I'm almost sure that there are defintely NOTHING wrong with an income of Inter. The financial problems are caused by awful high expenditure (too high wages of players are main reason to over high expenditure). They can't proportion expenditure to income at Inter, that's why we are in problems.

I hope that it will not be the case next season.
get rid of players like Lamouchi, Helveg, Okan,..... may be one big wage earner will also be leaving

And bring back players like Dalmat, ... & hope that players like Biavi, Beati do well.

Antti, I'm 100% sure that we lost out to Milan or Juve has a higher merchandising revenue compared to us. A proof, my mother is visiting Italy for business purpose twice a year regularly. Everytime I asked her to go to the San Siro store to get some Inter stuff, she always comment that the Milan part of the store always gets much higher customers. Even my teacher who visitied the store a few months ago said so too. This is of course due to our recent lack of success.

Agreed but that doesn't mean we don't earn enough. And like I said earlier expenditure should be always proportioned to income. It's NEVER an excuse getting into dept that we don't earn much. If you earn less you spend less, it's so simple.

Besides merchandising revenue constitutes just a very little part of our (and every football club's) all income, I think. Majority comes from sponsors, co-operation deals and so on.

Thats right we have a damn financial problem. Nobody wants an Inter shirt, everyone wants a new strip of Madrid, Utd, Milan, or Juve! Interfans are special people and we are far from convential fans, so yeah, we're not going to have the same income from merch that other teams will have. Doesn't really bother me, because I know that when I see the black and blue, it gets me emotional, gives me a feeling no other colors can. So until Inter becomes a gloryhunter club, don't expect huge merch sales
