It seems that if we get to play THAT game because of BBILAN, we are going to field the Primavera Team against Juventus as a sign of protest, it's been said

Shit that's true, Paolillo just confirmed it:
“I don't see why the fixture list has been changed at all. I fully share the idea that if the games aren't switched around, Inter will field the youth team against Juventus.”
Oh man not again...i really don't want giving the jube fool of fans something to laugh about.

Why, what's gone on? This game is AFTER La Derby della Madonnina. What's the protest about?

Fiorentina - bbilan, the game that was delayed due to bad weather in December, was scheduled for 27th January, which was making it a messy fixtures for bbilan because of important league games in tight space of time, and Milan complained about it a week ago. Now the FIGC decided that Fiorentina - bbilan be delayed again to February 24, and instead bbilan should play their Italian Cup quarter final on January 26th at GIUSEPPE MEAZZA, while Inter host jubentus 24 hours after on January 27th, at the same GIUSEPPE MEAZZA, which makes it all the more problematic for Inter, who Paolillo says only asked that they be the ones playing on the 26th.

Ah, ok, thanks. Basically the usual then, Milan have slipped the FIGC a few bob. Are Juventus annoyed because that could change everything?

I need to understand guys about what is happening,
Inter Vs Milan on 24 Jan (Sunday), then after 3 days on 27 Jan (Wednesday) Inter Vs Juventus.

It is still better than Milan who will play 2 days later after derby :
Inter Vs Milan on 24 Jan (Sunday), then after 2 days on 26 Jan (Tuesday).

Why we want it to be before?? if we switch with Milan then we will play with Juv after 2 days from the derby !!! which is worse

Maybe I am missing something here, can any one explain please.

I think you have mixed dates Xoonky .
Inter Vs Milan on 24 Jan (Sunday), then after 4 days on 28 Jan (Thursday) Inter Vs Juventus.

    While Milan:
Inter Vs Milan on 24 Jan (Sunday), then after 3 days on 27 Jan (Wednesday)

But I am still wondering why Inter want to play 1 day earlier, is the pitch issue very serious .

Yes, i mixed the dates, i meant that Inter play on January 28th, and bbilan on January 27th, i was sleepy when i wrote that out of the top of my mind.
There are two reasons why Inter are mad: 1.because such a tight fixture with very hard matches was making it very hard for bbilan, who decided on their own to delay the match on December while we didn't, and 2.because it is very hard for Inter to clean up and play at the same stadium 24 hours after a match, it's been very long since that last happened, from what i remember.

Goal.com says that we're going to play on 21th. Is there someone of the management that has confirmed that?

ESPN said two minutes ago that they have Milan - Udinese live on Wednesday and (I think) Roma - Catania on Thursday. Not saying they're right but has something changed? Either way I hope we don't field a full side, I know its against Juve but its only the Coppa and we have bigger competitions to focus on...

It becomes much less important when we are only 6 points ahead in the Scudetto race and have to face Chelsea in the CL...

its worthless in its current format

it needs more excitement, reduction to single playoff matches instead of home-away and more prestige

It has been reduced to single play-off. Only the Semi-Final has the home-away legs. Man, you really are lost out there in Sydney, huh cloud lol

So, we are playing this game on the same day {the changed one} but Inter has asked the Federation or watever it is, not to make these kinda mistakes in the future {last minute changes}.

January 28 - INTER Vs JuBentus. (not January 27)

all games should be single playoffs

home away legs take away from the little guy and puts it firmly in the big team's hands

the FA cup is so much more exciting this way

LOL it's only 1 round that has the home-away. All qualifying rounds and everything else is single leg. I am sure that they will change it again so that everything is that way, but I find it funny that you find it worthless or under the FA Cup because of one round...

FA Cup is single matches. They only play a second match if there was a draw in the first match...

But the League Cup, is the same exact format as the Coppa Italia...
