Inter rely on Spurs for Pastore
Inter’s hopes of signing Javier Pastore on loan with option to buy depend on Paris Saint-Germain selling Lucas Moura to Tottenham Hotspur.
The two moves are intertwined, as Financial Fair Play parameters dictate their strategy.
According to Sky Sport Italia, PSG have refused to release Pastore on loan unless there is an obligation to buy at the end of the season.
That is something the Nerazzurri are struggling to guarantee.

IMO he matured, knows what he wants, understood our project and we`ll get him sooner or later, just like juBentus got Matuidi from them. The P$G sheik is really fond of him, as he was his 1st purchase for his project. Time to let go + FFP will help us in this case, because they also have to sell.

Pastore has a huge salary in PSG, something like 8-9M per season. If the FFP things about them is real, they would like to get rid of him and maybe even earn couple of millions.

We should not pass up the opportunity to sign him now. There's not many better players in the world who is willing to join us right now, especially if we fail to make it to the CL again. He is even willing to accept a wage reduction to come here.
