    Football Books

I've read several football books. The Rules of the Game by Pierluigi Collina. I know most Interistas are not a fan of him, but I wanted to know more about referees

I'm reading Inverting the Pyramid by Jonathan Wilson and Flat Back Four by Andy Gray.

So, anyone likes taking their football passion to another level?

I'm more into autobiographies than tactical books. I've read many like Zanetti's ("capitano e gentiluomo" if you understand italian GET IT NOW), Materazzi's, Cassano's, Maradona's ect ect.. Very interesting stuff. Also books about inter in general.

Ive read Mourinho's book. Very interesting. I would like to read a good tactic book maybe about catenaccio or something like that. Any recommendation?

Inverting the Pyramid is a good book. Not focused on Catenaccio but it's a good read. It's about the history of footall tactics and how tactics have evolved from the late 19th century to 2008.

I don't know much about this book but it discusses Italian football tactics and there's a section dedicated to Catenaccio

i coach high school kids, so most of the books i read are about tactics, practice sessions e.t.c.

however, i've pretty much stopped reading those books ...a lot of fluff and not much substance

soccer modern tactics is indeed a very solid book....
principles of brazilian soccer by thadeau goncalves is also an excellent, excellent book
