No mediocre players, no matter if they come for free. We already have Pandev as mediocre, is Afellay really better than Pandev? And hell no to Kuyt. I thought we would give a rest to that transfer already for christ sake.

Well, afellay is younger and has more flair, can add something we dont... Might turn out to be great player.. TBH i am not impressed from what i have seen from him, but i havent seen much so i cant really judge... If we play 4-4-2 rombo, than nothing is a MUST in january, unless Milito still sucks badly until then... However, if we play 4-2-3-1, than a striker/winger is a MUST...

it all depends on the formation and how rafa wants to play in the end...

i really liked afellay back when he was 21, but now he's 24 and he didn't improve at all, so i think the change would either be good for him and put him on the world stage or turn him into the next quaresma, either way i think he's worth the risk since he's still only 24

I think we're gonna buy someone in january.. so the club is trying to understand Rafa and his style more before buying players..
Mou got Mancini and RQ in the 1st season, they turned to be useless... In the second season, Mou got 5 players and boom...
The club can save money by waiting for one season to buy more suitable player, in the next season Branca and co.. can see which players to buy.

Right now after the end of our failing mercato period it seems media wants to tease us with some auspicious stories for the future about Kuyt, Schweini, Poli and Cassano.

it is a priority because we have enought CM/DMs... Unless we offload them, we dont need one more... If we play 4-2-3-1, we have Motta, Cambi, Mariga, Deki, Muntari for 2 positions.. Motta is the one that can deliver the ball, to bad he is injured, but he'll recover.. If we buy new midfielder, motta would be third choise, mariga forth, and so on...

while for the attack, we have only 3 strikers, pandev, etoo and Milito.. what if some of them gets injured? Even for sneijder we have sub, Pandev, Deki, Coutinho.. of course they are not on the same level to Sneijper, but can do the job.. However, if a striker gets injured, then we are really, really, really fucked...

We can always revert back to a 2 striker formation with one in a supporting role. In fact, our strikers are better suited to such a formation. If a 3-man forward line is a must, Maicon can be pushed up into one of the wider positions (he would probably prefer the right side)... I really don't like this 4-2-3-1 formation because it can become too lopsided because we have nothing coming from the left side... maybe if we got Riise (don't rate Vargas and don't rate Kolarov anymore).... maybe this'll be a chance to rerrange or formation a bit.

In whatever case, we really can't get by with someone transitioning the ball from defence. Okay, we buy another winger but how do we get a quality ball out to him? Motta is only good half the time so i really have no problem with him becoming 3rd or 4th choice.

You know, we had several wingers last season and whenever we did use them it was just a mess. An absolute mess. No cohesion.

Nah fuck Cassano. At least Mario attempted to track back, albeit in a half run, dragging his feet and sulking all the way, but don't expect Cassano to do such a thing. Only way I would consider Cassano is in a 4-4-1-1 or 4-4-2 where he's free to do what he wants and subsequently performs at his best.

Come to think of it, now is the perfect time for Mancini to get his shit together. Based on his form in his earlier days he would've been perfect, pacy, good tech and dribbling, strong on the ball, intelligent and direct running.... if he doesn't force his way into the squad now then he will one the biggest flop ever. At last Ze Maria and Cesar contributed, at least Coco had some serious injury problems.... what's Mancini's excuse?

We should finally go for Cassano.. We are in the same context for years now.. I just hope we don't sign him when he is 32 years old..

Anyway, if don't opt for him, we should go for Ronaldinho.. Milan apparently doesn't want to keep him, and he has contract till 2011.. Sign him for 2 years..
