    Milito - Motta case?

This has probably been put up elsewhere but apparently Preziosi helped to persuade Motta and Milito to join Inter. Subsequently there is a danger our scudetto could be taken away and both players contracts annulled. Its all here for anyone who wants to read it though not sure what truth is in it...

GDS also talks aof this. But no mention of this affecting our scudetto at all. They say moratti may be suspended(not sure what that would mean) and worst case the contracts of motta and milito would be cancelled.

The issue is that apparently preziosi was still suspended so he wasn't allowed to directly sign deals to sell players.

There's no risk about Scudetto and Milito/Motta contracts....the only risk is that Moratti could be suspended for about a month (just like what happened to Secco,he did the same thing with Preziosi with the Criscito deal)

Yes, but then when were Roma anything else. Funny to see them so desperate. I can't quite fathom how suspending a President works though, does it mean Moratti would have to get one of his staff to sign the cheques or something?

Yes it would mean only ghelfi and angelo mario can sign contracts.

Anyway one of the gds editors is surprised it took a whole year to refer this. They feel if it merited refering then it should have happen a long time ago. They say in the past only small fines and a small suspension has happended, so nothing to worry about.

Exactly Stefan, why didn't this come out the day after the official announcement of the two signings? Why is it coming out now after our treble winning season?

    Jealous much!!!

the Italian sports Justice always takes its time before sending out those warnings.

Also, regardless of Tuttosport's article, I think you guys should take this news a little more seriously, as the possible (but yet very unlikely) sentences can be very upsetting.

The credidible sources have already said at worst they expect a slight ban for moratti 20-30 days and a small fine. Since that's what has happended to others in the past.

will the credible sources come from the Gazzetta again?
You should read the statement from the FIGC (using a decent translator), as it says "non appaiono attendibili le dichiarazioni rese dal dott Moratti", and that isn't a very nice accusation.
Also, when it comes to doing business with people that are banned by the Italian football federation, the rules have changed (and got sharpened) some time ago.
The sanctions - if any - can be very ugly. But, yet again, nothing should happen.

But, Stefan, excluding this episode, this summer is very likely to become a very hot one for Inter: other trials are moving on (not only the Calciopoli one, but also Telecom), and these can become very nasty.

I know that's something you juve fans like to keep track of but we inter fans are totally calm. Till we read something serious from sources we trust we won't worry.

Mario Stagliano and Mattia Grassani, so those are the sources. Makes sense.
Inter supporters are so calm that on interfans.org website itself there are more than 80 pages on the topic.
    time will tell.

    btw, off topic

Please keep the calciopoli bs in its own thread.

Also I wouldn't judge topics by the amount of pages. Most of those pages are filled with posters having a laugh about it, seems pretty calm from what I read.

The fact that according to them none of mediaset, sky sports italia or studio sport is running with this news tonight says a lot.

Haha.. juBe fans are so predictable! Come on Gazebo, what's gonna happen to us? Do you seriously believe this shit?! Better say you want to believe it. Revocation of OUR scudetto??? Moratti would rather die!!!! And YOU can only wish that, since reality is completely different. Don't get your hopes high again, it's for your own sake!

Didn't the official come out and said they only received referral for Spinelli and not for Moratti and Preziosi?
