    Belgium Jupiler Liga 2006/2007

Okay, new topic, because the other one is gone, I hope it will bring some more luck.
If you guy's want to know something, just ask, or if you've got something to tell about it, just do it.

Just some short stuff about this weekend:

    The results:

    La Louviere - Charleroi 0 - 0
    Racing Genk - Brussels 3 - 1
    Bergen - Sint-Truiden 4 - 1
    Club Brugge - Beveren 3 - 1
    Lokeren - Cercle Brugge 4 - 0
    Anderlecht - Moeskroen 2 - 0
    Standard - Lierse 4 - 1 (2 goals of Sergio Conceicao, he's just fantastic here )
    G. Beerschot - AA Gent 0 - 0
    Westerlo - Oostende 2 - 0

Well, Anderlecht and Club Brugge are doing both what they have to do, win. Cub has for the moment 7 points more than Anderlecht, but Anderlecht has played one game less.

Cercle lost again, we've got 1/18 now.
And we've got the second worst defension of Europe, only RBC Roosendaal is doing 'better'.
We have to be careful, because we only have 17 players left.

But, I've started a new topic, so, maybe we're gonna start winning again.

    This evening, Belgium cup-game:
    Anderlecht - Genk.

Kompany had to train yesterday with the youngers, because he was too late.
Leve Inter, Cercle Brugge, Standard, Palermo

Kompany teamplayer of Raul and Zidane

At 1 december he played already a friendly game in Nou Camp, a game to fight against aids.
At 15 february, he's going back to Barcelona to play, this time a friendly game of hope, the money goes to the victims in South-East-Asia of the Tsoenami-disaster.
He's the only Belgium player, and its a big honour for our country.
He's going to play with the team of Worlplayer of the year, Shevchenko. Against the team of Ronaldinho.
Marcello Lippi (coach of Italy) and Arsène Wenger (coach of Arsenal) are going to lead the teams.

Team Shevchenko (coaches Lippi and Wenger):

Buffon (Juve), Casillas (Real), Kaladze (Milan), Karembeu (Servette), Kompany (Anderlecht) , Maldini (Milan), Puyol (Barcelona), Stam (Milan), Thuram (Juve), Baggio (Italy), Ballack (Bayern), Beckham (Real), Deco (Barca), Del Piero (Juve), Gerrard (Liverpool), Henry (Arsenal), Nedved (Juve), Raul (Real), Semak (CSKA Moskou), Shevchenko (Milan), Totti (AS Roma), Vieira (Arsenal), Vogel (PSV), Zidane (real)

Team Ronaldinho (coaches Parreira en Rijkaard):

Dida (Milan), Kameni (Espanyol), Cafu (Milan), Cordoba (Inter) , Cris (Lyon), Heinze (Manchester), Jaidi (Bolton), Kuffour (Bayern), Lucio (Bayern), Alvarez (Barca), Radebe (Leeds), Zanetti (Inter), Adriano (Inter), , Buckley (Arminia Bielefeld), Cambiasso (Inter), Cha Eissen (Lyon), Eto'o (Barca), Kaka (Milan), Li (Everton), Mahdavikia (hamburg), Martins (Inter), Nakata (Fiorentina), Ronaldo (Real), Ronaldinho (Barca)

    Lots of Inter-players.

I will be going for Ronaldinho's XI obviously, but it will be interesting to see Kompany!

The Belgium results of this weekend:

Charleroi - Standard 0 - 0 (Conceicao didnt play, injured at the adductors)
    Sint-Truiden - Anderlecht 2 - 2
    Moeskroen - Racing Genk 1 - 2
    Lierse - Westerlo 3 - 0
    Oostende - G. Beerschot 0 - 0
    Beveren - Bergen 0 - 4
    Brussels - Lokeren 1 - 2
    AA Gent - Club Brugge 0 - 1
    Cercle Brugge - La Louviere 2 - 2

Anderlecht wasnt able to win, that because of some blunders from the goalkeeper Peersman, it was hilarious to see Its not the first time that happened, in fact, almost everytime he plays, he blunders.
The team is now 12 points behind Club Brugge, but with 2 games less.
Normally this evening there was the match against Bergen, but its cancelled a second time, first because of the rain, now because of the snow.
About the case with the exploded ball in Anderlecht - lalouvière: the team soesnt agree with the desicion of the court, so they keep fighting about it in court.

Bergen, who bought in the winterstop 12 (!) players, for trying to stay in first div. , is linked with Abel Xavier, who has no team for the moment. But being realistic, he will never play here, too bad.

On of Cercle most best players (Andy Vlachos), will leave the team in juni (maybe in march), back to Australia (to Melbourne).

This weekend, its the most important game for me (between my two favorit teams): Standard - Cercle, but the chance is big that its gonna be cancelled because of the snow
A little detail: last year it was 7-0, but the most wonderful game and ambiance of last season. Maybe hard to understand, but we even did the polonaise after al those goals We just werent good enough, we came form that far, so why not having fun?

The Belgium golden shoe for Kompany?

This evening there is the gala of the Belgium golden shoe, a price for the best player on our fields in 2004 (so second part of last season and first part of this season).

Normally there are always a few topfavorits for the most important football price in our country. But, not for this year: Everybody is sure that the young Vincent Kompany will get the gold.

The elegant defender of Anderlecht was already very close at it last year. He ended on a beautiful 5th place, afther just only playing one half of the season in the first team of Anderlecht.
2004 was the affirmative year for Kompany: NT coach Anthuenis made him a 'Red devil', Anderlecht won the tittle and Vince was chosen to the best younger of the season.

He kept playing very well, even on a high level. He was the only one who didnt fail in the terrible CL-campagne of his team. Scouts of big European teams, like Barcelona, AC Milan, Manchester United, Chelsea, ... where watching him in Brussels.

    Palmares of Belgium Golden Shoe:

I'm shocked that Luc Nilis has never won it.

Well, about Oliviera: he only played 4 years in a Belgium first team, and than the concurrention was to big. And Belgium people always underestimated him, especially the press (who gives a lot of points)

About, Luc Nilis: I'm shocked too
Yeah, its well known here that its soooo weird he never got one.
He played all those years for Anderlecht, but never received him, indeed strange. Was a splendid player, now, you have to know that in the time he played here in Belgium, each year there was a great Belgium player at almost the end of their carreer, so maybe thats why they wanted to give it to one of those. A pitty for Nilis, thats for sure.

Kompany is getting lots of pressure on himself now. Will he be able to handle it? Should we gamble on this? Difficult questions...

Well, one thing is for sure:

Kompany won the Belgium golden shoe

    WITH AN ABSOLUUT BELGIUM RECORD!!!

Never got a player so many points: 507 points (last record was set last year By Aruna: 384 points).

He was so touched because of the high score, he never aspected soo much. Normally he's always very cool, but now, at the stage, first, he didnt know what to say.
When the public was calmed down, he gave the most wonderful speach I've ever heard of such a young person, such professional talking!!!

    Yeah, Vince is our man

There was also in the show a comedian who made some really good jokes about him (well, I've got to mention that he already paid a lot of fines because of being to late at his club )

    Top 10:

    1 Vincent Kompany Belg 507
    2 Luigi Pieroni 104
    3 Marius Mitu 71
    4 Christian Wilhelmsson 70
    5 Bosko Balaban 69
    6 Mbo Mpenza 55
    7 Philippe Clement 51
    8 Timmy Simons 50
    9 Nastja Ceh 42
    10 Emile Mpenza 39
    11 Jonathan Blondel 37

The most wonderful weekend of this year is coming.

Not only there is the game Palermo-Inter, but in Belgium there is Standard-Cercle.
Two games, with my most beloved teams, playing against the second most beloved teams in Belgium and Italy.
    Unbelieveble!!! Such a fantastic weekend!!!

So the games this weekend in the Belgium league:

    Anderlecht - Beveren
    Bergen - AA Gent
    Club Brugge - Oostende
    G. Beerschot - Lierse
    Standard - Cercle Brugge
    Sint-Truiden - Moeskroen
    Westerlo - Charleroi
    La Louviere - Brussels
    Lokeren - Racing Genk

Conceicao isnt injured anymore. Has to be a great match!
I hope it will be a spectacular game, maybe so spectacular like last year.
I just want to see a lot of goals and some good football.
Unfortunately there is still the chance that the game will be cancelled because of the snow, but otherwise I want to help cleaning the field

I've organised (whole by myself) a party before the game between the fans of Standard and Cercle, I'm looking so much forward to it.

Yeah, I understand. I grew up loving obsessively a local soccer team that was successful. But the last time they won the title was in 95, they won the asian super cup in 2000 but i sadly missed it. They became second in the league twice since then and they are always screwed by refs. They are realy the inter of Sauid Arabia.

But since I started loving inter in 98, i don't have that strong of feelings toward them. I still follow their news daily but maybe distance does make the heart less fonder at times. Now, there is only inter in my heart.

But say, if Inter plays them in the World Club Championship (could happen, actually that team played in the very first one and became fifth) I think i will just die.
