last time we won at luigi ferraris was 4 months ago 0-1 against genoa, last time we beat samp at that stadium was 2007

last time we won after a CL knockout round was the last time we played a knockout round, we almost never lose after a knockout game

Nothing else to say but FTW! BBilan have Napoli and will probably need to be at their best to beat them.

    21-03-1999: Sampdoria 4-0 Inter
    08-02-2004: Sampdoria 2-2 Inter
    22-05-2005: Sampdoria 0-1 Inter
    29-10-2005: Sampdoria 2-2 Inter
    28-01-2007: Sampdoria 0-2 Inter
    24-02-2008: Sampdoria 1-1 Inter
    30-08-2008: Sampdoria 1-1 Inter
    26-09-2009: Sampdoria 1-0 Inter

    TOTAL: 3-5-2

Last 10 away Serie A matches after a knockout game:

07-03-2004: Roma 4-1 Inter (after UEFA Cup)
28-03-2004: Reggina 0-2 Inter (after UEFA Cup)
    09-04-2005: Bologna 0-1 Inter
    08-04-2006: Ascoli 1-2 Inter

    24-02-2008: Sampdoria 1-1 Inter
    28-02-2010: Udinese 2-3 Inter
    20-03-2010: Palermo 1-1 Inter
    10-04-2010: Fiorentina 2-2 Inter
    02-05-2010: Lazio 0-2 Inter

Pretty solid away from home after a knockout match. Check out who we played in 2008 after the first leg loss to Liverpool...

    I would play with this:

    -----------------JC
    --Zanetti---Lucio---Chivu---Nagatomo
    --------------Cambiasso-------------
    -------Kharja----------Motta--------
    ---------------Sneijder--------------
    ---------Pazzo----------Eto'o-------

I'm afraid of this one tbh..

    You'd like that wouldn't you?
    Switch Cambiasso and Motta
And probably put Matrix instead of Chivu

    Brazil

Leonardo needs to grow some balls.

Cambiasso has been dog shit and Motta hasn't been that great. He seems to be a manager that is scared of dropping the big names despite them being pants and out of form.

I think he should give Coutinho and maybe Obi who Chelsea were allegedly scouting a chance. They are young and may add something to the Inter side.

I really am gob-smacked that Coutinho has hardly been used. He looked magnificent against Spurs @ the San Siro. With Leonardo being Brazilian and all, I thought he would have gave him some playing time, young or not.

Apparently Motta strained his ass and Cordoba is also out, so adjust accordingly.

Bad news: Besides Ranocchia (10 days), Motta (10) and Cordoba (5) are also out for this game at least that is what GdS is saying.

Sampdoria with 3 defenders? Is that common?!

3-4-1-2 (3-5-2) is one old fashioned formation which I barely see any team use nowadays. But was hell of a formation back in the day but it will only work if you have the right type of midfielders for it.

Biabiany facing his old team would also be interesting & hell if he manages to score Same thing for PAZZO.

Man seriously, Eto'o's epic failing in the last minute against the despised Jube, JC's blunder before the final whistle against the odious Bayern... now if Biabiany - I have nothing against him, still good nice respectful kid - decides the game, that caps it all! (No jnx intended) It's really these precarious circumstances.

Napoli is pretty successful with the 3-4-3 (more of a 3-4-1-2)
