    Carlos Alberto Tévez

Carlos Alberto Tévez (born Carlos Alberto Martínez on 5 February 1984) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a forward for English club Manchester City and is currently the team's captain. He has previously played for Boca Juniors, Corinthians, West Ham United and Manchester United.

His energy and goal scoring rate has since made an indispensable player for the club in the eyes of fellow players and media alike, his importance was marked by promotion to captain at the beginning of the 2010–11 season by manager Roberto Mancini.

    (...)

On 12 September, it was claimed that the transfer fee was Ł47 million, a British transfer record, but this was later denied by both Manchester City and Media Sports Investments. Tévez was given the number 32 shirt, just as he was at Manchester United and West Ham.
2009–10 : 23 goals in 35 apps [league], 6 goals in 6 apps [league cup]
    2010–11 : 19 goals in 27 apps [league], 3 goals in 5 apps [cup]

    That's a total of 42 goals in 62 apps!!!!!!

He is the definition of the word"GUN". He is THE gun!

His determination and will is TOP in the world, he is really incredible. I saw him live in a rather unimportant match away to Timisoara [Romania], where Mario Balotelli came off the bench to score on his debut as they won their Europa League play-off first leg by 0-1. I went to watch the Man City players. Nobody gave a damn about the game, since they knew they can trash them anytime 4-0. But Tévez was truly impressive! He was playing like in the UCL finals !!! He was that determined that he came down many times right back to the middle of the pitch to take the ball and drive forward! Now THAT was impressive, that's a truly PROFESSIONAL player!

He always gives his all, he sweats passion.

I always wanted him at INTER, he is exactly the type of player that we need. He will fit in perfectly, as we are as a family and there are many argentine players in the squad.

Even SAF wanted to keep him but they were asking for too much.

Tévez is STRONG both PHYSICALLY and MENTALLY, he reached maturity and has great technical qualities. I'm sure he won't dissapoint any of us!

If ever, this is THE chance to sign him. There were ownership issues before, people asking for incredible amounts for his rights. As everybody knows, he wants out of there. He does not like the atmosphere in England. He made money, but his soul wants something else. Now he's unhappy but still a PRO, because he wants to move.

Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez said he wanted to leave the Barclays Premier League club as his relationship with "certain executives and individuals has broken down beyond repair".

It is understood that one of the people Tevez has fallen out with at the Premier League club is City chief executive Garry Cook.

However, Tevez appeared intent on leaving, saying in his statement: "I can confirm I have handed a transfer request to the chairman of Manchester City Football Club.

"Now I need to clear my head and think because this is an important part of my career," the 26-year-old added.

"My feelings have not changed and it is regrettable that we have reached this situation.

"But it is something I have felt for some time and have spent many hours thinking this through."
Premier League side Manchester City rejected on December 12, 2010 a written transfer request by disenchanted captain Carlos Tevez.

"Carlitos is amazing. He does what he wants with the Arabs, you know.
He tells them: 'I want to go to Buenos Aires' and they say 'No Carlitos, stay here now, we'll give you more money'. And then he gets more money!" - Maradona
Yes, Maradona is a cokehead but he has a point! If he convices them he wants to leave, he will be sold. And not for 50, but maybe 30 is a do-able amount. Latest reports state that INTER made a Gentlemen's Agreement [pact] with Man City and Roberto Mancini. Since Udinese's Pozzi is very aware of Sanchez's value, he's not giving up on him cheep. INTER tried to sign Sanchez in winter for a reasonable amount but Pozzi wants to sell him to the highest bidder [who wouldn't?!]. So he's asking for ~30m. INTER are not willing to pay such an amount for him, so we rather sign Tévez for that kind of money. I salute this strategy and I really hope it will turn into reality. We are not getting into a bidding war with Man City, while they agree to sell us Tévez. I believe Mourinho won't interfere either I think we all agree that Tévez > Sanchez. This is realistic to me and I ask moderators not to close this thread, since we are getting more and more linked to him. I BELIEVE!!

Prepare for our [next] legendary No. 32!

Well match threads are being closed because of imcompetent mods, this will be closed because its way premature.

No specific player threads should be opened before the coach situation is resolved tbh, even if the coach wont have control he will surely be consulted.

Tevez 99% will leave Man City this summer and his next destination is 99% out of england. Unlike some other people who are like a bunch of broken records babbling 'Impossible' all the time Tevez is a very likely option, considering his situation in Man City and Moratti being his admirer for years. He ain't worth anything more than 25-30m and I bet Inter won't go anything beyond that for him either, so he is one of the likely targets for us.

    Nim the Iranian,

I agree he is 99% out. But out of that 99%, do you agree that 50% of it is him heading back to Argentina?

With the other 49%, he will surely be heading towards one of the big CL clubs outside of England being,

    Real
    Barca
    Bayern
    Milan
    Inter

I think out of that list, Bayern (who have ALWAYS wanted him) are our biggest threat.

^^ No arab guy. There is 1% he head backs to Argentina now. Barca is not after him. Inter's most likely rival in Tevez contest is Real Madrid.

Real can't fit him. Benzema has just got some form, Higuain coming back, Ronaldo, Ozil, Di Maria and Kaka when he has a good pre season.

You tell me they have room!?

If Real don't make Adebayor's deal permanent will only have two strikers: Higuain and Benzema. What doesn't fit exactly? Ronaldo, Ozil, Di Maria and Kaka, none of 'em are strikers. Plus Kaka is out of Real this summer most likely.

Milan or Chelsea. The has been reports today saying Berlusconi want him back and with his current situation in Real it's not unlikely. I doubt Kaka is interested to sit on the Real's bench for another year.

off-topic: Kaka' said that he will stay. He stated out clearly why: Real Madrid payed a shit load of cash for him and he feels he ows them [doh]. He struggled with that almost season long injury and he will be back to prove his value. Plus milan can't afford all the players in the world he will stay there.

regarding Tévez I think he deserves his thread since there's a lot of talk [and yet more to come], no matter who will coach INTER next season. He's one of a kind world class player that would fit in ANY FUCKIN` TEAM!! So he's a long time target for Moratti, Branca & the whole club. This is THE opportunity to sign him! We have Mancio there to help things go well, just like in the Balotelli case

OK since we all agree he will leave THIS summer [he will force his transfer], I think we should also agree that he will go WHEREVER HE WANTS! Because HE can do that. Period.

Now why would he go to Bayern LOL?! Get real! He's not into money any more, he will accept a wage-cut in order to join us (because he's the highest payed player @ Man City right now)

Tevez e non Sanchez? Il Daily Mail spiega perché
    Fonte: fcinter1908.it

Daily Mail says Tevez will cost INTER even less than Sanchez! They are reporting that Man City offered 41m Euro for Sanchez, and that figure is completely out of reach for INTER since we wanted to offer 20m cash + player exchange

I'm not sure about him really. With all the shit we've heard from him that he wants to quit & shit, I'm afraid he will end up as the second Adriano after some time.

I always want him to play for Inter. Imagine he is on that spot where Pandev is. Pazzo and Milito are gonna have lots to do. He is probably fed up with the English football but he should try few seasons in somewhere like Italy where football is football and not about celebrities, players having affair with porn stars, or anything. English media are really the one spoiling English football. Tevez would settle down better in Inter. He would never be Adriano bcs he is determined and professional. Despite the issue, he is still playing for Man City. he is the only one carry the whole Man City on his shoulder.

I thought football in Italy had changed, but it seems that a zebra never changes its stripes.

There is enough smoke to this rumor to have a separate thread.

    On to Tevez....

I would welcome this move and Tevez to Inter with open arms. He would form one of the best striking duo's in Europe with Eto. Now, if we can add some creative midfielders to the mix, and a new coach; we can get this thing turned around, and back on track.

Why would he join Bayern? Bigger and stronger club than Inter both currently and historicly? Younger team with more attacking minded players with more potential and ambition? Better league than Serie a? Fans in germany actually bother showing up to watch the games? Proper Stadiums?

Reasons enough for you? He would have to be on crack to choose Inter over Bayern.

That being said, Bayern already have Gomez and Müller who are certain starters, i dont see why they would go for Tevez. Bayern doesnt need more attacking players, not starters anyways.
