A member of roma municipality's council has been arrested on ground of corruption in local tenders. It isn't clear (or at least I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere) if future Roma stadium is among those. That notwithstanding, because he was among those involved in the project, everything related to Roma's stadium will most likely be put on hold.

Gazzetta remarked today that the project was approved five years ago by the then major Marino: yet, it is still a project.

'Every city needs a new stadium'
    By Football Italia staff

Deputy Italy PM Matteo Salvini has declared that ‘every Italian city’ needs a new stadium.

Milan and Inter are both ready to demolish San Siro for a new, 60,000-seater stadium, but Salvini [pictured, left] claims he will pass new legislation to help other clubs build their own.

“We need new stadiums, not only in Milan but also every other Italian city,” he told Dire.

“I say this as Minister of the Interior. I’m a romantic, but Milan needs a new stadium. If San Siro then stays as a museum or an arena for concerts, that’s fine.

“As a minister I’m tired of committing thousands and thousands of women and men every Sunday in uniform to check what happens outside stadiums and inside them with old systems, without cameras, without exits or emergency access points.

“We’re working on a law that makes it quicker, easierand less expensive to build new sports facilities because families have the right to go and see a game in peace.”

Ah, the absolutely pitiful multi-colored seats... The emanation of Serie A's impotence.
Inter is an artistic venture, almost poetic. It is capable of provoking immense, unreachable joy and bitter disappointment. Its never done by half-measures.
For me, Inter is the opening to new worlds and courage. Its a strong passion, a marvellous illness. You can put up with the weaknesses and admire the courage, the same way you would with a son.

After a couple of years of fights over the stadium and mutual insulting, de Laurentiis and the mayor of Naples apparently have reached an agreement.

But I feel like "refurbish" is a more appropriate term in this case lol. And while they are at it, they make the stands colorful so that it looks a little less empty.

So they're adding seats to the concrete slabs and calling it renovations ?!

What's next ? The 2000 year old Roman cobblestone roads leading to the stadium will be asphalted ?!

Well it's not really Napoli's plans but rather it's the main stadium for the University Games so they had to renovate it for that. Having proper seats will still probably increase attendance though given how poor the previous ones were
