PSL, the South African Premier League, is set for a massive showdown this weekend. Amsterdam satellite Ajax Capetown is on the verge of their first title ever. I say this warrants an Africa thread.
While overzealous internet bloggers talk of the end of the word on May 21, the Premiership will be having a Judgment Day of its own on Saturday.
In one of the most exciting domestic seasons ever the Premiership will go down to the wire with, all of Ajax Cape Town, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs in contention for the title in the final round fixture of the campaign.
Ajax top the log with 59 points while Pirates (57 points) and Chiefs (56 points) are in second and third place, respectively.
This season has been a fruitful one for the Ajax brand with their Netherlands parent club, Ajax Amsterdam winning the Dutch title last week for the first time in five seasons.
