Well we recently received an e-mail from one of the 2 men spearleading the re-opening saying that they had finally reached the minimum number of people interested to become an official Inter Club. They have apparently sent the letter to the CCIC and we could have our Inter Club in London soon!

Yes, we hate Milan and Juve but please, don't post such messages in this kind of topic. It's totally unrelated to the topic itself.

    Now, this is cool!

I joined the club but I'm yet to receive my membership card (hopefully soon, they have to send all the stuff from Milan).

The club was mentioned today on Inter.it.

    IC LONDON UP AND RUNNING
    Monday, 01 August 2005 15:11:28
MILAN - Their first meeting was planned for the evening of 7 July at Bar Italia Uno, a popular haunt for Italian football fans in London. But after the terrorist attacks that morning, the inaugural meeting of Inter Club London was postponed and eventually took place at Selhurst Park last Wednesday ahead of the Nerazzurri's friendly match against Crystal Palace.

The 40-plus IC London members were all set to celebrate official supporters' club status, with all the required paperwork completed in June after Nerazzurri fans Alessandro Messina and Matteo Ferrario, respectively president and vice president, joined forces with another group of Inter supporters led by Franco Boscarelli and Roberto Infante.

"As I work in an insurance company located at Aldgate, on the morning of the 7th of July while going to the office I realised something big was happening. I saw in one place as many policemen, firefighters and ambulances as I had seen in my entire life," recalls IC London executive member Roberto Infante. "As soon as I got confirmation there had been terrorist attacks in London we decided to cancel our big introductory meeting. We thought it would be impractical but also unsafe to carry on with the meeting, and we promptly informed all the people who were due to attend. Of course we also asked them whether they were well and safe."

A small gathering took place in the run-up to Inter's England tour, but it was at Gate 12 outside Selhurst Park that Inter Club London met in its entirety for what promises to be the first of many Nerazzurri meetings in the English capital. "Wednesday's game was brilliant and I thought we played very well considering Crystal Palace are way ahead in their preparations, even though there was a big gulf in class," said IC London member Fulvio Schiavi. "I'm glad that Inter came to England in the end, the club and the players showed that they were not afraid to change their mind and they always considered the fans' and the English people's interest."
"The tour was a nice occasion to meet more local Inter fans and friends, and hopefully it will help increase the size of Inter Club London," added Infante, who along with club president Messina and other fans and friends was at Fratton Park on Sunday to watch Inter beat Portsmouth and end their tour with four wins from four matches.

Exactly, we wouldn't mind 10,000 Glaswegians standing at il Duomo for a day.

I added my name to the list to go to the Rangers - Inter game, there are about 40 of us from Inter Club London going to Ibrox in December!
