God is with us..
God is with us..
Oh comon he is not that bad.. At least he is not Mihajlovic..
Black and Blue, I live for you
Black and Blue, I'd die for you
If you only knew, what i'd do for you
Black and Blue, I Love You...................Te Amo Inter♥
Inter For Life
I am not thrilled but as long as its not a long term contract then its ok. Can't be worse then rafa and leo...
Bring in some good young talent for him MM and i think we will be fine. Genoa was good at buying young talents and he did well, so hope he can do well for us too. FORZA GASPERINI AND INTER
FORZA INTER TILL I DIE! Mi chiamo Salvatore.
Mihajlovic would have been worse because he would have definitely demanded longer contract than one year. That's why I think Miha was not considered anymore.
Of course it's a huge letdown if we somehow give Gasperini longer contract than one year. Somehow we need to try to restrict it to one year, with an option for a second and some bonuses for trophies or something.
i rate gasperini quite highly, i'm surprised the majority doesn't share my view
if fucking allegri can win a scudetto then why the hell can't gasperini (who has done way more than him imo) win with the best squad?
it's not like he's a stubborn fat guy or somebody whose main tactic is "stand there and score whenever you can"
although i'm pretty sure the CL isn't going to be pretty, just like all the other serie a teams who don't have a coach with CL experience
wow DONT OPEN A THREAD!
tomorrow he will decline our offer as most of all the threads we opened for this mercato
does it mean that we keep Kharja for good now? Hope he will have the balls to kick him out, if he's our next coach
The good thing with Gasp when he was at Genoa was that his team played with great aggression and at a high pace. hopefullly he can introduce that to his Inter-side.
With the options we have, I will be content with this move. It seems Moratti wants to bring in Guardiola and who would agree if we really want a coach with a one year contract. Gasperini shouldn't be underestimated I think.
Crotone 2002/03: Serie C1 6th Place, 19 points from 1st
Crotone 2003/04: Serie C1 2nd Place, 2 points from 1st
Genoa 2005/06: Serie C1 2nd Place
Genoa 2006/07: Serie B 3rd Place
So basically the guy took a decent C1 team and got them promoted in his first try. He also kept them afloat in Serie B, even finishing in the top 10 his final season. Then he takes a team just promoted from C1 and finishes 3rd in a Serie B that included Napoli and Juventus. He then not only keeps them alive in Serie A but actually finishes fifth two seasons later!
The man knows how to win without having much, so to me that is a good sign. Think of it this way, Benitez managed big clubs like Valencia and Liverpool and still only managed to win a small percentage of games more than Gasperini. Lippi, Cuper, Del Bosque, Ramos...all these guys won about the same percentage of games as Gasperini yet they were all at huge clubs at some point. If Gasperini can do this with small clubs, I think it can only get better with a squad like Inter...
Who knows, maybe he will surprise some people and he'll stay here for the long run!
If i die young, it will be from a heart attack, caused by this team!
I agree with most of you guys. He is not a bad choice. It is just us who are being paranoid because we are used with big names. All good coaches started somewhere... (besides Leo but he is not that good thoug). I just wish I knew what is in Moratti's mind though. Does he have an agreement with Pep? Also, I hope he will be welcomed from the players. Some do...but, few others might feel they are more important then him and we all know what happens in this cases.
I'm with him totally. +1
Of course we need reinforcements but i would write it even if Pep+Mou+Capello common sit on the bench .
