River Plate in serie "B" ....

River Plate has lost for the first time the category on having lost 3-1.

For a great club like River it is some kind of more that tragic what spending this one.

In these moments there are events of violence, where enclosed journalists being attacked on the part of fans of River.

When coutinho appears Vasco was played in serie B, in Lamela case, he plays all season and his team was relegated....

I want give the thanks to Massimo Moratti because he always try to make to Inter a big team and team that fight the Cl spots like minimun. Sometimes the tifosi claims for huge stars for the team or get the Cl and some like that and forget that our team never its closed to be relegated and suffer the hell of serie B, Tanti Grazie MM!

I want to clarify something about this. The Argentinian relegation system is very complicated and gives all the advantages to the big teams. There is an AVG system taken from the point team make in 3-years divided by the number of games. I don't want to make this long so I'll summarize what am trying to says. The guys playing the game today had little to do with the relegation despite playing in the final game. They finish 9th in the league this year despite not winning in their last 9 games. The team that had the most to do with this was Cholo Simione's which won the league one year then finish last the next. I wouldn't put this relegation on this version of River, it goes deeper than that.

This the final result of a bad moves of the managament since 10 years ago, the guilty of this is:

    Ex-president Aguilar...

Passarella did the movements that the situation of the club allowed him to do but it wasnt enough.

The promotion/relegation system is beyond bizarre in Argentina. I read about it and it still confuses me. Anyways, that sucks for River. First time they've been relegated to the 2nd division. That's over a 100 years of top-flight football. It's one thing to get caught cheating like Rubentus and sent down but to be sent down the legit way, well that blows.

As for disturbing scenes, well that's South American isn't it mate? Football runs through their veins as surely as blood does. And when shit kicks off, it kicks off in a big way

I understand that relegation is based on prior years performances and such, but River Plate still could have won the play-off and stayed up. How can you say that this team has nothing to do with it? They lost to the 4th place team from the B division in the play-off lol...

Yeah. Seriously, they are playing against a lower division side, which have to win them solely on 180 minutes home/away. No away goals. If there are tie on aggregate then River would not be relegated. PLUS they have home advantage for the 2nd leg. How could it not possibly be any of the guys fault there ?
