True, Devious. Imagine the brickbats he would have faced had we gone out with him substituting Samuel for Guarin when we're down to 10.

Got schooled by Zeman big time. He is young and all and has a lot to learn but is Inter a club that can afford something like that?

We have the personnel to beat this Roma team comfortably.

We (he) need to pay the price of learning. I'm confident Strama is a quick learner and understands we can't go in every game with the same game plan. It's not an end of the world to lose 3 points to Roma at home, even if that sounds terrible indeed. And I'm deeply disappointed over the result.

Team hasn't adapted to Strama's ideas yet and that obviously restricts our team's potential to show its full ability. Guarin-Gargano-Pereira midfield was a mistake, three guys who has never played together (well, not in a midfield Gargano-Pereira) were tossed there to play against technical, fast-passing Roma of Zeman. Not an easy task and we saw the result.

Do Inter can afford to pay the price of him learing? We absolutely need that CL spot, anything less than that would a total disaster.

Yes, a thousand yes.

Coaches like Gasperini and Ranieri couldn't even control the changing room. Don't even mention how much the Board trust them. Strama is someone that can gel everything together. He barely has a week to train with Gargano, Peireira and Cassano together. Seriously, try playing 3 new guys all of a sudden in your school team. Tell me how much "tactics" can you really implement?

Wait 'til XMas before we all judge him.

Debatable man. We again acquired a bunch of rejects and squad players in our mercato. While Strama got schooled I'm not too confident team can improve drastically. To early to judge but I got a feeling not much will change compared to last two seasons. We simply lack true quality while expectations are sky high.

yea that imo was the main problem, no chemistry in midfield at all, in time they will get there tho.

one thing id like to point out was how horrible slow our attack was before we brought palacio in. no pace at all, how were we supposed to make a decent counterattack with those slow players.

naga was also pretty horrible in defence, he shouldnt play these big matches tbh.

36 games left, I'm sure if we don't get results, changes will be made... Just let him work

But the thing is, it didn't really look like there was any game plan - which too was the case in the matches against Hajduk and Vaslui. Players just seemed to 'do their thing', which was at fault for the lack of discipline in the centre of the field.

I can't really see whether we want to play possession football, counter attacking football or a mixture of both. We just.. play. Badly.

Sure, this loss is not the end of the world, and I'm sure that we'll be seeing a different Inter after the break. But seeing a brand new Inter-side lose in this fashion hurts, and I feel somewhat disillusioned.

Strama played the game far to open today. It's a growing pain. We have a very very young coach and we may have to deal with the odd bad decision. We will gel and certainly get better. This match came a little to early for us.

This is miles away from reality. We really, really, really need that CL money.

Man, sitting here and pointing fingers is easy (just like Cuchu, no offense). What do you suggest then? Which coach do you want to sign now, huh?

IMO we wanted to play possession football today, but failed miserably due to Roma's techincal ability.

And yes, we can afford to have Strama making mistakes and learning. I'm positively sure he's not a stubborn old man like Gasperini or Ranieri who just can't get it. He will make it work for this team.

Everyone is hurt and disappointed and there's nothing wrong with that, it's totally natural after huge expectations risen by that end of mercato and all. But let's be patient.

I have no problem with him making mistakes but the reality is that we need the CL football to survive. If he can not deliver there is no point in keeping him.

He basically needs to learn very quickly.

Huh what? You keep saying we can't afford time for Strama to learn. What do you suggest then?

I suggest that he learns very quickly because the club's future depends on that CL money.:)

We did? My biggest worry is that there was very poor chemistry on all lines and the players didn't manage to play well together in the first tough game...

Need to see signs of improvement next matches.
