Just to gauge people's expectations, (perhaps this is a after preseason question) how many goals do you guys expect/predict from Icardi next season. Of course assuming he completes the transfer.

Depends on many factors but i'd say around 10, +/-2. And im happy. I dont care about goals THAT much, but his overall performance.

For 13 Million he better score more than 10.

I hope 15-17. People here are hyping him up to be our El Sharay. We need a striker that can score goals so it better be him. Palacio, Cassano are support strikers so this kid better out it in the back of the net. At the very least I want him to bench Milito

First of all, ElSha was 19, and second of all, his first season he was SHIT. His SECOND season, he did much better. So not really comparable.

10 goals and good overall play in his first season for us on the age of 20, would be pretty good.

Agreed, don't forget Gareth Bale first season at Tottenham to, he was also very shit, and now look at him.

yeah.

We should not look at goals and stuff next year, to be honest. We should be looking at his movement and maturity. How often he gets into dangerous positions, etc.
