Lua only atm. I've been planning on reading on C++ for ages but haven't had the time.

I made a desktop program for pastebin.com once. Had like over 20k downloads.

Nice... i like when someone outside IT tries to program something.

Tho... Thats a bit amaterish. You cant build serios apps with that only. IMO C# is the only language that can buiod you apps on its own (not counting databases). C++ and Java are great too, but not as universal as C#.

lol, I've been coding for years. I'm not "trying" anything. I've coded more shit that you can imagine, from Twitch bots, irc bots, wifi connection notifiers, dental management programs, GTA mod tools to an actual vidya game and so much shit inbetween. I don't take people seriously when they tell someone they should use X language or Y tool. If it gets the job done, it's good enough.

Work for Gameloft and that's as big as it gets.

Nice. I'd have to move to Sydney or Melbourne to get into something more related to what I studied.

I'm actually working with control systems at the moment so it's a bit of a different area. Just a case of taking what I could around get these parts.

We have to get the people who have already done programming courses to teach us how to do it. Pisses me off that the lecturers cant teach it for shit

Because I was interested in it? Money's not great but its good skill set and out of the back of that I've done really well so far career wise. Fundamentally, though, I was interested in it and enjoyed it, and no one can ever take that PhD away from me. Except for the university.

its about problem solving, and a lot of the time its fun. Sometimes its really frustrating, but when you realise why a bug is behaving badly, or when you make a breakthrough, its awesome. I recently stripped out 100+ lines of code to replace with 4 lines, and save a lot of run time. Felt really good.

Oh, absolutely. I was coming more from the angle of why you subjected yourself to the pressure, since I know from personal experience that post-grad stuff can get intense at times. Anyway, nice work mate.

Because it's a point of pride and achievement, and other people see that on my CV and appreciate that I can cope and perhaps even thrive in that environment

more than anything, though, research was fun and I have something cool to show for it that few people ever achieve. Plus I got to work at CERN for like 6 years of my life.

I know some. One of my closer friends is also an inter fan and then I know some cunts who like Juve and one or the other milan fan. Swiss people like Juve because of lichsteiner it's so annoying. Thinking about it, I really only know that one inter fan. The others I just met once. Just 2 or 3 people. Bilan happens every once in a while.

I wanted be football manager all my life but closest thing in Bosnia for that was just management.

I decided to finish that but they somehow transferred me to Economics (I was drunk all the time). Finished eighth semesters of that thing, on a paper they said that I am Graduated Economics - direction Marketing. (I really drunk too much)

After that I got a job like a accountant and they gave me CPA scholarship, finished that shit too but still looking for something new.
