balotelli is one of the most naturally talented players ive ever met...

I don't know, I thought he was on Longo's level.

I personally believe Longo (Having watched Longo play regularly for over a season now) can challenge Balotelli for his talent level (I'd point out that I'm probably one of the first people to see Balotelli play, as well. I saw him play in the Sheffield FC 150 year old match, in 2007).

You've clearly never studied Logic.

My point there was that Longo could, possibly, get to the same talent level as Balotelli. Not that Balotelli was at the same talent level as Longo....

I mean I realise you'r edoing that 'Lol I'm such a funny troll' thing you get off on, but this is stupid even for you tbh.

Let me explain this through the domain of which you seemingly have mastered, logic.

This relation that we're talking here is commutative.

Longo's talent =~ Balotelli talent is equivalent to Balotelli's talent =~ Longo's talent.

And you didn't say Longo's talent "could get to" to talent of Balotelli, because that inherently means he could develop his talent to match the talent of Balotelli. You simply said his talent can challenge Balotelli's talent, which is an approximately equivalent relation for comparing the two's talent.

Please fill me in where I'm incorrect with your masterclass logic skills, it'd be my pleasure to learn from one of the very best logician around here.

My point, around can challenge, is that he could one day be at a comparable level.

Not that he did/does challenge.

Pretty straight forward, really. I believe that post was written after he scored the hat trick vs Milan in the Primavera final many years ago, long before he'd even debuted first team level. Possibly (though might be a season wrong) when Balotelli had just moved to Milan and became awesome. Quite obviously talking about potential, not that Longo is already immediately comparable to a guy who scored like 16 goals in 18 games for Milan

I don't believe it's as straight forward as you make it sound, I do agree the ambiguity comes from the understanding of the phrase "can challenge".

"Can challenge", to me that implies that there is the possibility of his talent matching Balotelli's (back in those days), with no inference to the future or the development of his talent whatsoever.

Sure, you can stick a few words in now and completely change the meaning of the sentence.

It just requires further clarification really.

The idea of Mario Balotelli returning to Inter seems a far fetched thought but could ultimately make logical sense for the good of his career. The forward could be ready to arrive on loan from Premier League club Liverpool where he has struggled to rekindle form that put him in the spotlight in his earlier career asides from his childish acts including the infamous bathroom-firework incident. Roberto Mancini is one of few known remaining big admirers of the 25 year old. If Balotelli wishes to have a national team recall, a move to Inter could be one of the best options.

It does sound exactly the kind of fucked up move Inter would do... his mentality is exactly what we want to avoid in our dressing room. I would rather we pay Liverpool to keep him away from us.
