Defending against 9 Bologna players at home??This is shame..Karamouh out and injured Perisic on pitch?Brozovic playing instead of Rafinha??Now I understand why we didnt won so many games,or lost winning in last few minutes..Reason is Spaletty system,he dont allow players to attack if we are in 1 goal lead..Even by playing against 9 Bolognians at home!!We are putting ourself under the pressure by passive defense while in 1 goal lead..How can players have winning mentality while playing such system?Spaĺety dont allow them confidence boost by winning 3:0 or so..

I'm glad we finally managed to win a game again, but we can't turn into a bunch of pussies every time we get the lead... Come on, the last 10 minutes were embarrassing to watch, especially if you consider that we were playing at home against a 10 men mid-table team. Anyway, we deserved to win because we created more chances than them even if they were the product of chaotic and random plays. Rafinha is class, he turned the game around. Easily the best midfielder in the team. Karamoh scored a gem and played a good game overall, too. The kid deserves to play.

At last, a clear and sensible explanation.
Still, I would rather sub off someone with dead left shoulder than a cramped player.

Can't remember the last time I was so happy for a goal before that Karamoh masterclass. What a quality goal. Him with Rafinha showed what quality can bring to the pitch.
However, the way which we ended the match was so embarrassing. I could feel fear in our players every time we take a lead, no one wants to take responsibility to receive the ball. When they do, they rush with it and end up losing the ball. Everyone except Rafinha, Skriniar, and Cancelo that is. Looks like not winning for such a long time caused this. We need to win again a few times and get rid of this poor mentality.
Finally, I hope Spalletti learn a lot from this match. Stop being a chicken and drop players who don't bring anything to our game right now. Perisic and Brozo need to see the bench again until they somehow recover their form. Karamoh has to start again, as well as Rafinha. He should be fit enough to start. He put in more shift with half the time Brozo was in the pitch.

Positives:
Karamoh - Kids brilliant. Can dribble, has a shot, knows how to go wide and pressure the player. Did exactly what Perisic is supposed to be doing with a bit more flare.
Rafinha - Dude is a stud and you can instantly see he came from a system of football very unique to our own.
Skriniar - 9/10 of his tackles are successful it seems. Plus I like his Lucio like pressing when needed.
Eder - Surprisingly solid
Spaletti: outside of the Gagliardini sub (which i don't think was as bad as people in here) the subs showed balls. I assume the Miranda sub as half time was to show Lax play needs to be avoided. The Brozo sub had to happen with how he was playing and Rafinha was magic. All in all he handled the game much better than our previous games.
Our fullbacks: Cancelo played well and had a great defensive save. Seems our most dangerous options going forward. Dambro was fine too. Compared to the shit show fullback performances we are used to, this is a breath of fresh air.

Negatives:
Brozo - Fuck off. Has his moments but damn can he be painful to watch when he doesnt seem to give a shit. And idk if that applause when subbed was a jab at the fans were rightfully booing him; if so fuck off even more.
Perisic - needs to find his form. Hope today was just his hand but he looked horrible and missed a chance he usually buries.
Miranda - thought his sub showed balls for what seemed like a mistake

Wow. Victory, finally!

Following this thread time to time. Guess I need to continue doing that and just not watch the games anymore.
