Forum SupporterThe reserve LB for the UCL is D'Ambrosio; assuming Vrsaljko is actually fit. There's no way we can move Asamoah to our midfield without switching to a 3 at the back, thus rendering this pointless, because then we don't have a LWB.
What I'm trying to tell you is there isn't an alternate universe that exists in which Vecino doesn't start this game.

10 years of FIFStop being ignorant. Not even the likes of C. Ronaldo, Ronaldo, Raul, Romario, Hugo Sanchez etc can touch Messi's absurd goal record, let alone if we count his assists tally as well.

Most Diverse PosterDude, we are talking about a guy that hasn't scored against 5 clubs he played against. That means, he provided goals everywhere else. So what you said is not really factual, because he has shown again and again that it doesn't matter who he plays against.
I am proud that he has not scored in those 4 games against us, but we are leaking too many goals to not be scared of Messi

10 years of FIFI have a dilemma between parking the bus with Dumbo-Miranda-Skriniar-De Vrij-Asamoah, or going just with the same lineup than against PSV with Politano-Perisic-Icardi as usual.

10 years of FIFIt's not really a dilemma tbh. We have to be pragmatic. We already have 6 points. Tottenham has 0. As does PSV. The goal is to qualify, thus getting a point in both barca games will be ideal and put us at 8 points; a strong position to qualify, needing probably just 1 win from the last 2 games to qualify.
Parking the bus is the right strategy. In Nou camp, it's with a measured and conscious effort to watch the numbers we pour forward when we counter. I wouldn't push more than 4 players in a counter attack, with 1 of the 4 players in a 'transition' position and at least 2 getting into the box. They key to barca is not getting too excited on the counter and leaving too much space for them to then re-counter.
